Dh and I are planning on trying it for the first time during our next trip in September. Actually, from what we've seen of the menu examples, we're seriously considering trying it for breakfast and dinner! This one doesn't seem to generate many reviews, but what we have seen sounds great! Has anybody been here recently that can give a more current review?

I ate there for dinner a few months ago and while the food was great the service wasnt.
I have eaten there many times though and this was the first time I had this issue. I have to say the breakfast is fabulous.

:wizard: We ate there in August and were pleasantly surprised...the food was very good and so was the service. We liked it so much we're going back this August!

My mom and I had lunch there last December. The food was very good but service was extremely slow. We were in a hurry to catch a ME bus which made the slow service seem even slower. I had a very good cheeseburger and my mom had the tuna nicoise salad which she said was fabulous.

We ate there last August and had a great dinner. We didn't intend on eating there, but it was the only location we could get an ADR at the last minute. The kids insist we go back there again so they can get a steak dinner. I recall having the steak and green beans and it was done to perfection. I think this restaurant is one of those hidden gems. :thumbsup2

We had breakfast there last year and we won;t go back. It was just nothing special and the service was bad! So to 1900 Park FAre instead!

We have had dinner there twice, Aug. 2007 and 2008 and are having lunch there this August. We really like it and enjoy touring the Grand Floridian while there.

Enjoy! :)

I have reviews of dinner and breakfast in the reviews in my signature. We like it. relaxing and usually quiet! sometimes the service is hit or miss but the food is really good

We've had quite a few breafasts and 2 dinners at the GF Cafe - the food was always good and so was the service. Having said that, we prefer breakfast .

:sunny:

We ate lunch there last Sept and all three of us enjoyed our meal very much. I'll probably be going back there this Sept. It was very quiet and peaceful at lunch time.

We ate breakfast there in March (click on link for full review and tons of pics) and really enjoyed the empty restaurant, the view of the monorail and killer eggs benedict.

Had dinner there Aug 08 and we were blown away by it! Awesome NY Strip, I love the pasta with shimp..it was loaded with good size shrimp, the dessert platter was the best though, would go back in a heartbeat!

We ate there last August..we loved it..the food was great and the service was excellent!!! The waitress was the only one I remember from our trip...she was from Green Bay originally so my husband was joking with her about Brett Farve...we are huge Giant fans (from Long Island)...she was so friendly!! We recommend it! :)

We're going to try it in December and I asked about it on the boards a while ago. I got mostly positive reviews about breakfast. I'm looking forward to it!

If you decide to go for breakfast I can recommend the lobster eggs benedict. They serve nescacrap coffee unfortunately.

Had dinner there last week. Service was fine. Cheeseburger is served with asparagus and lobster on it. Had the steak which was decent. The menu seemed small, especially with some "unusual" items on it.

Ate there two weeks ago, dinner was great and service was very attentive and friendly. Menu is a bit limited compared to some places but everything we have tried there (and we have tried a lot of their dishes) have been great.

This is a great place to dine before any MK party night as it is easy to normally get an adr not too far in advance and easy to enter MK with the monorail right there.

Thanks for everyone's reviews. I was having the same thoughts as Tazicket a few days ago. We're going to try it now; I'm pretty excited :)

Do you think that as guests at the GF, we'd be able to walk in for lunch/dinner here? Or would we be better off with an ADR?

We walked in for lunch on the saturday before christmas last year. There were a decent number of people but there were empty tables.

Ate there two weeks ago for lunch and breakfast. Lunch was over 2 hours long and took longer than our signature meals we had later in the week. Service was off. It was mother's day and we were walk in but something was not right. The food was good though.
