Hey, I just read that last week again, myself! Horcruxes and Hallows and Hagrid, oh my! I'd forgotten a lot of it, too. Problem is, reading one makes me start referring back to the others to remember what happened, and pretty soon I'm re-reading everything, getting very little sleep, and no housework!

I originally posted this over in Goofyfordisneys thread: HERE. But it's such a sweet deal I though you should all know about it!!!

Check this out: I booked 6 nights at GCH with 4 8-day park hoppers for appx. $3750. Figure the 4 park hoppers go for appx. $750. that means for the 6 nights I'm only paying like $3000. BUT WAIT...

I didn't mention the 4 tickets to Mickeys Toontown morning madness those should be worth like $400...
And the preferred parade viewing I'd say it worth $75/person so that another $300...
The collectible pin and lanyards which must worth another $400...
Don't forget the collectible coin!!! Someday it will be worth $1000...
And the (?-free-?) Disney Visa backpack worth like $300!!!
Add those up and that's like $2400 worth of extras!!!

So $3000 - $2400 worth of extras and I'm only paying $600 to stay at GCH for 6 nights!!! That's only $100/night to stay at the Grand Californian Hotel with a theme park view!!!

Boy those extras really make things affordable!!!

I was totally cracking up as I read this. I wonder if I can use this logic on my DH???

I always justify $$$ when going to Disneyland haha Luckily my fiancee agrees and I don't really have to convince him to spend money while at DLR. I think i have to justify myself more with other people who think I'm crazy for going to DLR so much

Glad I could help! I had 3 glasses of champagne and 2 glasses of wine in me when I wrote it. I guess alcohol can skew ones judgement!!!

I was reading Harry Potter - Deathly Hallows for the second time. I read it last year and didn't remember half the stuff that happened. Finished in 3 days -- it was either that or sleep, and I HAD to finish the book. lol

So, my mind wasn't fully in the "here" world, but rather on muggles and snargles, apparating, and stuff like that, so Sy's post went right over my head...

Someday I have GOT to finish reading that. I think it's been a year since we stopped (I read it out loud to hubby as he's a very slow reader, is apt to fall asleep while reading, and is a bit dyslexic, so it just goes faster when I read it out loud). Stopped b/c I got sick and couldn't talk, and then we just never WANTED to finish it. If we finish it, it's done. If it's not finished, the world is still out there, changing.

But it's getting kind of hard to avoid the spoilers, since it's been so long they aren't even "spoilers" anymore, just part of conversation...


OK, back onto the topic.


Sy, can you justify a Disney cruise now, so this person who is happy with Royal Caribbean could even *think* of doing it? (especially a person who does NOT really enjoy characters or baths, ha, got ya in a bind now, don't I?)
