We have been to disney a few times and I asked my son who I am planning this trip for what are the things at disney that you wouldnt want to come home without doing. This is my plan for our 1 day 4 parks best of the best. we go on a disney cruise the next day. will this work in reality or only on paper. thanks for your advice

Up early. Get pastries and juice at The Beach Club Marketplace. My son is not a big breakfast eater early in the am. Catch the bus to animal kingdom arriving there by 830am to hopefully catch the opening show. then straight to ride everest. work our way back and watch tough to be a bug. then right to the 1030 lion king show.pictures in front of the tree of life. then walk out of the park and have an early lunch at rainforest cafe. take the bus to magic kingdom. pictures in front of the castle.then everyone will be lining up for the parade . we will be heading back to space mountain so we are in the back part of the park. during the parade ride the 3 mountains and get our picture with mickey. by the way where will mickey be is toontown still there??Train back to main entrance. bus to beach club for supper at beachs and cream restaurant. then take boat to hollywood studios allowing a half hour boat ride we will need to leave around 620 pm. we might even catch a sunset boat ride which would be beautiful. walk into hs get one picture in front of the hat at sunset. then down to TOT and RRC Fantismic will probably be showing at 7pm so hoping the lines for these 2 rides will be low during the show. we might even luck out with toystory mania. Then pictures in front of the hat at night.
back out to catch the boat to epcot. with people lining up to see illuminations at 9pm any hope of riding soaring on single rider line without a fast pass. Pictures in front of spaceship earth at night and then back to beach club to collapse.

any hope this would actually work and get all his favorite things done in one day. just so you know it will be 5 adults him at 17 being the youngest. so we dont have to worry about naps or melt downs. if we get tired well say we did good with however far we got and go back to the hotel happy. all comments, suggestions are greatly accepted.

could work... I love Animal Kingdom, but I might try and get out a little bit earlier to give yourself some wiggle room. Also, counter service might be more "time efficient" if that is your goal.

Are you set on seeing the opening show at AK? If not, I would start the day at DHS, ride TSM, then ride RnRC(single rider if necessary) and ToT. They open at 9 and I bet you could be done by 10:30. Then I would hit AK(get there around 11), ride Everest(single rider),quick lunch, ITTBAB and then see Lion King at 1:30. Done at AK by 3:30, get to Epcot by 4. Soarin doesn't have a single rider line unless they added it since last summer. So will you just go to have your pic taken if there's a long line, ride Mission Space or what? Have dinner at Beaches if you really want a big meal. Head to MK when you're done and finish the night there. They are usually open until 11 in the summer, and crowds start to thin out after the first fireworks, so you could probably do all three mountains easily before the park closes.

Just my 2 cents....

We are doing a 4 park challenge one day this trip. It's also my son's graduation trip and he's bringing a friend. I have to rework my plan now that the FP times are being enforced. I think it will just make it a bigger challenge though;)

Agree with PP about your two sit-down meals taking up a lot of your time. Are you driving or using Disney transportation?

Soarin' does not have a single rider line, but as long as you're in the line before closing, they'll let you ride then you can get your picture.
