Grabbing a CRT cancellation

What did I do wrong or am I just highly unlucky? Last night, I was fortunate enough to find someone willing to coordinate a cancellation. Two minutes before the designated time, I was online clicking find table repeatedly. I did this for 10-15 minutes, then checked every minute or so for about an hour and a half. I thought somebody said it takes an hour to show up on the website. During that time, I even called WDW dining and showed nothing. What gives? I want to be prepared in case the perfect storm strikes twice! Appreciate any suggestions.

It's just luck of the draw. Coordinating doesn't always work out and I couldn't tell you why. I really don't think you can depend on the system to do much these days.
