Grab a cup of coffee, or whatever & pull up a seat...it's another Last to Post!

You know...I keep saying I'm never doing that Stomach Wheel of Churn swinging gondola ever again.

I think I've been on it every time in the last 3 DLR visits. :lmao:

Okay. My turn to head out for a short time. School pick up time.

I usually just log off for a bit when it happens, so I've never timed it before. It was not bad though.

I'm just watching The X-Files (loved this show ever since I was a kid and it first aired), so it was about half an episode :lmao:

And we're back. Nice of the Dis WebMasters to coincide Twilight Zone with school pick up time! :thumbsup2

Not that I know of... I actually just put another on. I'm heading to bed shortly, though, probably after this episode. :)

I'll be here....its still only 4 pm in Oz. I've pretty much cooked most of the taco dinner we're having tonight. Just need to shred the lettuce and chop some tomatoes up.

My Dad likes that show a lot. When I was 16 and my car was broken down, I called my Dad for a ride after work. That show had just started and he wanted me to wait until it was over outside in the dark alone. I got off a few minutes after 9pm. He seriously left the house at 10pm when it ended. I had walked almost the whole way home. He drove by me on the street, and I waved. He said it was dangerous for me to walk alone. Was it not dangerous for me to stand alone outside for an hour?

Particularly if the truth is out there!

I watched the show enough times to kind of get that joke. My Dad would certianly get it, since he never missed an episode. Thank goodness for DVR. Now, he can leave the house when his shows are on. The funny thing is I do not even know if he has a DVR. I've seen the cable box, but do not really watch TV while I am there.

Wasn't that kinda where you and I first bumped into each other or was there another thread before that one?

I kinda remember a thread for the night owls that couldn't sleep.

I think I found you and Jo late one night by hitting the new posts links. That is how I found the games. Most of the other threads were quiet at that time of night, and I liked someone to talk to when everone here was sleeping. I only logged in at night back then. Then, I started that thread to see how many people were up late like me or in the middle of the day on the other side of the world like you. When I stopped going to bed at 4am, I retired it. Now, I usually go to bed between 12am and 1am. Once in a while, I go up earlier or later. DH says he wants to start going to bed before midnight, because he is always tired.

Imagine how tired he would be if he ever helped me in the middle of the night. His excuses for never helping are that I breastfeed and he works. I bet the breastfeeding thing, but he does not assist me with anything even on days he does not work the next day. He is mostly tired from going to bed between 1am and 2am from playing video games. Then, he gets up between 6am and 7am to go to the gym before work. He needs to go to sleep earlier. Speaking of which. It is midnight, so I am going to head up. Let's see if he sticks to what he said and follows me up or stays downstairs to play more video games. I will let you know tomorrow. Good night.
