I will be glad when it slows down here. Tomorrow is your birthday Queenie?
::yes::

Happy early birthday. If I remember correctly, you look like you're in your 20s. Whether you are or not, you look like it.
I do look it  but I won't be anymore :(
Sorry I'm a day late. I didn't get on yesterday. My week was crazy; today was running a few errends & packing. We leave @ 7:30 tomarrow morning. :cool1: Hope you all have a good week. Jo, have a fun time in Vegas!!! :goodvibes

See you all next weekend!

Happy travels

I have to admit that I am mixed on this. While I have a large, lovely family as does DH, I do not have much of a relationship with my Mom. She left us when I was 7. Whenever she contacts me, I gladly take the call. I have only seen her 4 times, since I was seven. She has never met my kids, since DH and I saw her last in 2004. We have only spoken on the phone a handful of times over the years. My MIL who is amazing was in the hospital (getting discharged today). This made me call my Mom, so I actually spoke with her today. I miss her dearly. I wish she was clingy or at least cared more. She never keeps an address or phone number for long, so it is hard for me to keep in touch with her. My Dad is amazing though, so I do not want to complain too much.
It's a balance. Because my mum lost her parents I have forever had the 'you should be so grateful' guilt trip. I have a great mum. But she clings too much.

Mother's Day is always tough since I lost my mom to cancer thirteen years ago, she was only 59, way too young. I still miss all the running around we would do together.

That may be why I am a little too clingy with my boys. I love them so much, so I do not get how a mother can walk away from her kids.

Thank you, twin-nie.

I might be too late...but have a fab time at the World. Hey - if I can't be there, let my Dis-twin be there and living it up for me vicariously. :thumbsup2

Is it doing better?

Well this doctor has a plan. When she came in today, we expected only a dressing change. Instead they applied "skin substitute" I might even post pics on the TR since there is no blood or open wounds. This stays on for a week so no need to come in 3x a week for dressing changes. He is hoping that in 5 weeks we will see significant progress. It speeds healing 3x overall.

It's one of those scary birthdays for me tomorrow.....

I was wondering which one...at 30 I was facing divorce, coming out and being in debt twice my annual salary. I don't think that the current motto should be limited to the LGBT community, but "it gets better". Although I can't say the first few years of my 40s were better, I'm hoping the last few will be spectacular!

Hope your new decade is F*A*B*U*L*O*U*S!

I'm sort of living the divorce stuff vicariously :rolleyes1 and debt issues vicariously

I know things will get better. Just so much *stuff* going on it's not easy at times to stay positive...

That's GREAT...
I know spray on skin is used for burn victims wounds so I wonder if this is a version? Either way I really hope it helps it improve quickly! :thumbsup2

Not so much....was dozing off at work and on the train. Just been dosed on early birthday cake though so awake.......currently...

Just turned to page 53 of your TR...
