This is our first time staying offsite and we will need to rent a car, however, my DH is known for getting lost!!! I was wondering if anyone knew which company rents cars with GPS in them? I don't care if I have to pay more if it will save 8 days of arguing with the KING of LOST MEN!! :rotfl:
THANKS

I don't need one. I just say wife wife where are we? Saved me hundreds buying a tom tom.

We just got back last eve. We bought our's down with us, plugged it into the rent a car & it worked fine for our trip. We stayed in Orlando for a few days, before heading out to Port Canaval for our Disney Cruise. :thumbsup2

Truthfully, rental car GPS is a total waste of money unless you go with Hertz NeverLost. The others are crappy motorolla cell phones with the 1 inch onscreen map. NeverLost is a true nav system, with the POI feature. Hertz charges $10 per day extra, but there are a few coupons floating around for 2 days free...

I second this! :thumbsup2 I've always been pleased with the service and Neverlost system. If I don't know where I'm at - I rent with Hertz and Neverlost.

OP - Hertz is an offsite company at MCO but their shuttles run very frequently. You'll see an agent outside waiting to greet you. If you're a AAA member you can typically get decent rates through them too.

Agree with the recommendation to use Hertz. We used their Never-Lost system when in San Diego and never had to pull out the map. Don't waste your time or money with National. Not only is National sub-par in terms of a rental company, but their systems are awful. Used theirs on two different trips (while on business....glad it wasn't my money!) and there is truly no comparison!

Ill chime in and add I just saw on Avis that they are hoping on the Never-Lost bandwagon and adding a Garman system as there means of GPS rental. Cost is comparable and this might be a better option if onsite rental is a "must". But, as others have said, Ive used nearly every company out there and Hertz is so very hard to beat. AAA rates are often cheaper then National/Alamo rates and you will actually recieive a little something hard to find these days, customer service :thumbsup2
