Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

I got a few things from Archievers but most of my scrapbook (which I finished last weekend :cool1: ) came from Pat Catan's and Jo Ann Fabrics. I also was lucky and I went to marc's a few months ago and in the closeout section they had some nice Disney stickers for only $.88 a piece.

I hit the jackpot at the Marc's in North Ridgeville last week. I was able to get two packs of Disney stickers (same ones that you find at Catan's, etc.) for $.99. I could not believe it. I bought 10 packs. :lmao:

I now have what I consider to be a finalized itinerary. Will it change? Who knows. :rolleyes1

As previously posted, we now have our flights. I just hope that the flight times don't change. We are arriving at MCO before noon which is awesome.

We rented a mid-sized car. I'm not happy with the rental price this year ($300 :scared1:) and I am a bit worried on how we are going to get three adults and all of our luggage in the car. Joe and I each take two bags...2 large and 2 small. We both have 2 carry-on's as well. I have my laptop (yay work :headache:) and my purse (or in this case my backpack) and Joe has his laptop (maybe he won't take it this year) and our camera bag. If he doesn't have a laptop, he will also have our actual carry-on bag with misc stuff in it.

My sister, mom and nephew also have a mid-sized car. My sister and mom will probably each have 2 bags plus carry-on's and my nephew will most likely have one bag and a backpack. Yep, lotsa luck getting all this crap in the cars, eh?

Two cars is definitely less expensive than a van plus it gives us the luxury of everyone being able to come and go as they please.

We will drive to WL and check in. Hopefully our rooms will be ready.

Disney9-05004.jpg

I was thinking to check in on line before we leave but I sort of want us to be together. We have linked ressies but I don't know if we check in on line if we will be near each other or not. :confused3

:wizard:Day of Arrival

Check in at WL

Disney9-05002.jpg

Grab something to eat at Roaring Forks (1 CS)
Head to DHS

CIMG4530.jpg

It will probably be too late to get a FP for TSMM so my thought was to do the One Man's Dream, VotLM, Art of Animation and GMR. If we have time, we can do more.

Dinner will be at Earl of Sandwich at DTD (1 CS). We LOVE EoS.

DisneySept09Vol1077.jpg

It is one of our favorite places to eat CS. I'm a bit worried about what is Weight Watcher's friendly but man, I can taste their tomato soup now.

We will do a bit of browsing to see what new merchandise is out and plan our purchases. Knowing me, I will buy as well. It happens to me every year...I see something that I want and I don't get it. I then spend the rest of our dang trip trying to figure out where I saw it last and we end up on a search. It drives Joe nuts! :headache:

:tigger:Day 2

We have an ADR at BOMA for breakfast. We will pay OOP today.

I will most likely not be able to stand it a moment longer and head to Mara to get me zebra domes. :rolleyes1 Yep, I'll finish breakfast at BOMA and then proceed straight to the domes! :lmao:

DisneyMay2009525.jpg

After breakfast is DAK. I had thought of having breakfast at Tusker but OMG, it was so dang loud there last year that I was getting nervous. That, and our waiter spit on my mom. By accident, of course, but that is all that she remembers about Tusker House. :guilty:

We'll head to KS first thing. We love it and it is a must do.

CIMG4302.jpg

Other must do's at DAK are:

FOTLK

DisneySept06571.jpg

ITTBAB - although not for my nephew -- he hates it!

CIMG1680.jpg

EE - not me of course, or mom, but the rest of them dig it!

CIMG1705.jpg

DinoLand - have not been there in a few years

CIMG4159.jpg

We may add Nemo to the list.

CIMG2809.jpg

I think it will depend on how hot it is that day. I also want to walk some of the trails and explore the park, which we have never really done. Yep, I know, how could that be? It is usually a zillion degrees there and I swear, it is hotter there than any other park. The weather will defo play a part in how much we venture around.

So, how many people are saying....are you NOT going on Kali? Up, we have NEVER done it! My sister and nephew have, but the rest of us have not. We're lame....being drenched just isn't fun for us....unless of course, we got drenched on Splash. :rolleyes1

I also really, really want to see Mickey's Jammin' Jungle this year. It has been YEARS since I have seen it and this year, I am DETERMINED!

We plan on Dinner at Fulton's. It will be OOP, but we have the AAP discount so we'll use that there. We love Fulton's... for the most part. Those of you that have read my past TR's may remember the day we had "company." Yes, a giant cockroach crawled across the table right in front of me. :scared1: You may wonder why we are going back. Well, it is my sister's fav place to eat and honestly, those stupid things are all over the place and we just happened to be lucky enough to actually get to see one. Ewwwwww.

Next up, more planning.

Loved your itinerary update!!!

I always rent a car to go down to Disney and yes that is a bit high, but for me it is worth avoiding the hassle of the buses and what not! I love being able to go where I want when I want!!

Love your plans for DHS and AK!! Much fun will be had!!!

Thanks! :goodvibes

We always get a car when we go to Disney. Joe just doesn't like to wait and it makes our life much easier to have one.

:earsboy:Day 3

Breakfast at Roaring Forks. I like a quick breakfast so that we can get to the parks by rope drop. Now....to get the fam up and out by then. Ha ha!

Today is DHS day.

DisneyMay2009543.jpg

We're planning to head right for this to get our FP's:

DisneyMay2009075.jpg

I am hoping that we can get on right away (well, not RIGHT away, but you know what I mean) and then go back and use our FP's.

There are other must do's on our list for today. They are:

My nephew loves this..........

DisneyApril2007097.jpg

I love this.............

DisneyApril2007188.jpg

I'm not getting much input from the fam, so we're going with a short list of must do's. I added this one for my bro.....

CIMG3877.jpg

Lunch will be at Studio Catering. Man, I love the pulled pork there!

I'd like to see the Block Party Bash but it will take some convincing!

We' probably take a short resort break before our ADR at Mama's place. We got the Fantasmic package.

After dinner will with probably just do whatever...Joe says his goal is to ride ToT....never done that before.

I have not seen Fantasmic in forever .... don't even have any digital photos to post! :scared1:

pirate:Day 4

Breakfast will be at Roaring Forks. I don't think my brother is too thrilled with the number of breakfasts we have here. There is a method to my madness though. The rest of the family can get what they want and I can still stick to my diet by using snack credits for fruit for breakfast.

After breakfast, the plan is to head here:

DisneySept09Vol4517.jpg

It's going to be strange to be at Disney for three days and just be getting to MK. Seems that it just doesn't feel like Disney until we get to the Magic Kingdom.

We'll probably stop and see what's happenin' on the party line at the Chapeau first.

CIMG2940.jpg

Maybe try on a few hats while we're there...

CIMG2951.jpg

CIMG2928.jpg

CIMG2954.jpg

We'll make our way to Adventureland first.

DisneySept09Vol2262-1.jpg

Depending on how hot it is, Joe may want one of these:

DisneySept09Vol2272-1.jpg

I'd love to take a ride on the Carpets if I can get someone to go with me. I haven't seen my pals the tiki birds in AGES...would love to stop and say hi there too.

Next will be this:

DisneySept09Vol2282-1.jpg

Let's hope that we see this!

CIMG2960.jpg

DisneySept09Vol2310-1.jpg

After Adventureland, we'll make our way to Frontierland. Grab a FP for this:

DisneySept06798.jpg

After grabbing our FP, we'll take a ride on BTMRR. I LOVE this ride.

DisneyFeb07198.jpg

I don't know if Joe's back can take this anymore, but I am going to see if my brother will ride with me. I'm sure my sister and nephew will ride too. Mom will def sit this one out.

Wonder if I can get my nephew in here again?

CIMG3626.jpg

I can never get anyone to see CBJ with me so we'll probably skip it and move to Liberty Square.

Joe's fav is Haunted Mansion so I know we will do that. I'd like to see the President's too.

Con't...

Loving all the plans so far and with pics included :thumbsup2

Love this photo

CIMG2954.jpg

Day 4 continued.....

I am hoping that we get to see this today. OMG, I love gettin' the party started!!! I can't remember the timing of this little parade/party, but I love it.

DisneySept09Vol2193-1.jpg

By this time we will probably be ready for lunch. Can you guess where we're going?????

DisneyMay2009485.jpg

Yep, Casey's (1 CS).........

I'm wondering what they put in these dang things to make them go like this in a matter of seconds. :confused3

DisneyMay2009486.jpg

It will probably be a late lunch and I anticipate spending some time shopping while we wait for the Share a Dream Parade.

DisneyMay2009487.jpg

DisneyMay2009490.jpg

I am a parade nut. The rest of the family could take them or leave them. I just love them. I really, really want to see the Share a Dream Parade. I figure if the rest of the fam doesn't want to, they can venture off on their own or go back to the resort for a break. I can always take the boat back.........

DisneySept09Vol1802.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1815.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1878.jpg

After the parade, we'll take a break and head back to WL. We'll relax, freshen up a bit and then head to O'Hana's for dinner (1 TS). None of us have been to O'Hana before for dinner so we're all looking forward to it. Joe and I have done the Luau 3 times. My mom, sister and nephew have seen it but my brother has not. We're looking forward to dinner.

After dinner the plan is to head back to MK for Spectro and Wishes (or whatever the night time parade and fireworks are going to be called then). I'm not sure when they are stopping Summer Nightastic and the Main Street Electrical Light Parade. Either way, we're going back to see them.

My favorite spot for the night time parade is at the walk way to Tomorrowland, right at the HUB.

DisneyMay2009316.jpg

DisneyMay20091075.jpg

DisneyMay20091096.jpg

DisneyMay20091122.jpg

DisneyMay20091204.jpg

After the parade, we'll move over to the Tomorrowland Noodle Station Terrace to end our day with Wishes. I think that is the best place to view Wishes...aside from a Wishes Cruise, of course.

DisneySept09Vol21140.jpg

DisneySept09Vol3711.jpg

DisneySept09Vol3638.jpg

Up next...Day 5 - picking up where we left off at MK.

Loving all the plans so far and with pics included :thumbsup2

Love this photo

CIMG2954.jpg

Stef,

These two were acting up big time at the Chapeau. We were waiting to get ears stitched for a friend. It was hot and they had no patience. They ran around trying on hats and acting silly. It was actually a lot of fun.

Lol, bless them. I can imagine the chaos they would have caused

Enjoying the rest of your plans and loving the photos, gonna be one awesome trip for you guys :goodvibes

::MinnieMoDay 5

We're heading back to MK very early on Day 5. We have super, duper early ADR's at CP (1 TS). I love getting to parks early, before most of the people arrive. I plan to take a ton of pictures. I will have Joe go and check us in while I get as many shots like these as possible.

DisneySept09Vol4480.jpg

DisneySept09Vol4530.jpg

I'm looking forward to this breakfast for a few reasons. One, it's awesome. Two, which is the most important, is that I am going to get my bro to pose with Piglet. Since he was a child, he has hated Piglet. :scared1: I don't know why and I don't think he does either.....but we're going to change that this morning and I can't wait!!!!!!!!

After breakfast we're going to go to Fantasyland. Chances are we will be right there when the park opens so we'll have a head start from the masses just entering.

Here are our must do's:

DisneySept09Vol4624.jpg

DisneyNov152.jpg

DisneyNov151.jpg

DisneyNov145.jpg

DisneySept09Vol4643.jpg

I would also really like to ride the carousel, which is something that we rarely to.

We'll also spend some time shopping and picture taking before heading over to Toontown......if there is anything there. :sad2:

I've not been to Toontown in years and I'm not sorry that I didn't make a stink to get the fam to go over the last couple of years. No one but me wanted to. I wonder what it's state will be in September?

We're planning on MNSSHP tonight so we're not going to spend a lot of time at MK. We wanted to get back to the resort and relax since it will be a long night.

Up next....dinner plans and MNSSHP touring plan.

Lol, bless them. I can imagine the chaos they would have caused

Enjoying the rest of your plans and loving the photos, gonna be one awesome trip for you guys :goodvibes

And throughout the entire venture Joe would break out into a very loud....HEIGH HOOOOOOOOOOOO! I wanted to die. :lmao:

I can't wait but I'm bummed that we will not get to meet this year. :sad1: I wish our dates crossed so that we can meet in person.

HI! Loving your PTR so far...still need to go back and read some more :goodvibes I especially love the pic of you and your husband kissing with the kids grossed out! So precious!

We stayed at the WL in January and are staying again in December!! It is AMAZING :cloud9: All of your plans sound great and I can not wait to read about your trip popcorn::

Day 5 continued

We're not making lunch plans so I am thinking we'll grab snacks or something.

This year mom decided that she is going to pass on MNSSHP. :scared1: I totally understand but I am a bit bummed. It's hard for me to imagine that she's not 35 still. Yeah, I am 48 so that would be rather impossible, wouldn't it? Mom always goes with the flow and will do just about anything that we want to do. Last year she had a hard time with the weather and such. The year before the same so this year she said not to get her a ticket. She's going to stay at the resort and watch Lifetime Movies. :rolleyes1 Good Lord, cross your fingers that they get that station at WL!!!!

Anywho, the plan is to have an early dinner at WCC. That should be a hoot, eh? Joe and I were there once in 2005. I think the family will get a kick out of it, I just hope everyone is in the mood! We're planning on a TS credit for this meal.

After WCC, mom will go back to her room and the rest of us will hop the boat over to MK for MNSSHP. I'm super excited for the party. Joe and I really enjoy it and it is something that we have done over the last few years.

Once we get there, we will head over to Tomorrowland to see what we can get done there before the festivities really begin.

Here are our must do's:

DisneyMay2009400.jpg

This one is for my bro, sis and nephew. Joe won't do this one again. There mere mention of SM makes him groan.

CIMG2431.jpg

We will most def do this. Let's hope mom's hair doesn't do this again. lol

CIMG4022.jpg

I love the TTA. It is so relaxing.

DisneySept09Vol1753.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1757.jpg

We will certainly ride Buzz to see if we can do this again too. I'm sure we will ride more than once...or twice...

IMG00066-20090919-21511.jpg

I don't remember if CoP is open on MNSSHP nights but I really want to see this again. My mom isn't thrilled but I love it!

Next up....let's see if we can finally get that picture! I've tried every year.....

Thanks for joining! I will be sure to come and join your TR too.

The picture is actually of our friends. lol. They were suppose to join us this year but plans changed. :sad2:

We love WL too. We have not been there since 2005 and are really looking forward to staying there again.

Quick WL question for you......did you happen do laundry while you were there and if so, is it convenient?

And throughout the entire venture Joe would break out into a very loud....HEIGH HOOOOOOOOOOOO! I wanted to die. :lmao:

I can't wait but I'm bummed that we will not get to meet this year. :sad1: I wish our dates crossed so that we can meet in person.

OMG I would so die too, it sounds really fun when you read it, but I guess not so much when you have to deal with it for real! If Dave did that, I would do one of those embarassing "ha ha yeah you're funny" and then pretend like I don't know him

I know me too :( But hopefully fingers crossed we can arrange something for next year :goodvibes

Its a shame that your mum isn't going to the party, but I am sure she will have a lovely relaxing evening all the same :)

Day 5 continued .... MNSSHP

After we do whatever we can in Tomorrowland, it will be time to find our spot for the first Boo to You parade. I say the first, because if I can't get a decent picture of the headless horseman, I am going to the second parade too! Here is the best one that I have been able to get over the years. I am aiming for better!

DisneySept061149.jpg

Sometimes we watch the parade in Frontiertown. The only problem are the lights. It seems that when they turn the main lights down and turn the others on, it makes for craptastic pictures. We will probably give it a try and see what happens. If not, we'll go to our old stand by....the walkway to Tomorrowland. One year, the horse nearly fell and I freaked out. He sort of tripped. :scared1:

I love the music to this parade. Listening to it as I post this actually.

DisneySept061156.jpg

DisneySept08Part2370.jpg

DisneySept08Part2400.jpg

After the parade we will probably go and seek our our spot for Hallowishes. Sometimes you can get a few attractions in between. It will depend on where we end up to watch the parade. I would like to get to Splash and BTMRR. Love riding them both at night. There are little to no lines during the party so it is possible to get on one and then right on the next with little to no waiting.

I like the Terrace again for Hallowishes. I love these fireworks...far better than any other I have seen, include the ones that they had for the Pirate and Princess Party.

DisneySept08Part2056.jpg

DisneySept061308.jpg

I am hoping that we get great pictures of the first parade. My plan is to ride what we can in Fantasyland if we do. I also want to end the night with Philharmagic. It's a tradition for us. I think this is my fav MK attraction. I just love it.

I'm sure that we'll be pooped and ready to call it a night!

CIMG2148.jpg

Next up, our plans for Day 6. popcorn::

OMG I would so die too, it sounds really fun when you read it, but I guess not so much when you have to deal with it for real! If Dave did that, I would do one of those embarassing "ha ha yeah you're funny" and then pretend like I don't know him

Its a shame that your mum isn't going to the party, but I am sure she will have a lovely relaxing evening all the same :)

Stefy, he does the Hiegh Ho thing all the time down there! :scared1: People around us laugh, but I am dying inside.:laughing:

I am crossing my fingers for next year too.

Mom does need the relaxing time. With her asthma and stuff, I worry that she will get overwhelmed with the heat and all.

Oh no, thats not fun

How does your mum do in the heat when she is there? Dave's asthma isn't too bad, for him its more the winter that gives him trouble.

Oh no, thats not fun

Any extreme weather is bad for mom. :sad2: The last couple of years the heat has really gotten to her bad. We're thinking of changing our annual trip to February and then Joe and I will go alone for a few days in September for our anniversary. We think that the weather will be better for her in February than it is in September.

Yeah September can be quite warm, but not more so than July/August, I have heard that it gets sooo hot, that people melt

What is Feb weather like? Also, I think Feb was pretty quiet this year crowd wise.
