Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

Happy Mom's Day! How is your furry baby doing? :)

Gus is still the same. Thanks for asking about him. We are doing what we can and will enjoy what time we have with him.

I'm here I'm here!! Of course I have a lot to catch up on! I can't wait to read all about this trip! But I wanted you to know I'm along for the ride WOOT!!!

Hi, and welcome! Nice to have you with us. I'm loving your TR by the way. Great review of Mama Melrose. :thumbsup2

I have been behind on the DIS and plan to catch up this weekend and post an update. Don't ya hate it when life gets in the way of DISing? :lmao:

Found your PTR!!

I'm way behind, but will get caught up this weekend. I just started our PTR last week! :cool1:

Ok, I just got caught up on all 33 pages! :goodvibes

1. LOVE Gus!! Is he named after the mouse in Cinderella? Please keep us updated!! We had a kitty go through that when I was in high school; we were lucky enough to keep him for almost a year after he was diagnosed.

2. WHERE did Joe order those arrangements for you from? Disney Florist?? I'm in love with the Cinderella slipper and tiara! I think Brad needs some tips!!

3. Thank you for posting so many MNSSHP pictures; got me really, really excited! I actually bought a pair of the candy corn ears you have on at a local Disney outlet that's open for a couple of months. So cute!

4. Is your Mickey ring custom made? I'm most definitely in love with that, too.

5. Love your ADR choices! We're doing only CS this trip and I've never not made an ADR! EEP! I heard that they took away the beef sandwich at Flame Tree. What do you get there? I can't eat the pork sandwich, but that was always one of my fav CS locations.

6. Your LGMH is so cute! Ours got ruined from rain last year; I need to make some new ones! Thanks for the inspiration! (BTW, I approached a family last year that had them all over their stroller, and they looked at me like I was nuts and said they'd never heard of DIS. What? You just happen to have LGMH on all of your stuff?? I'm still baffled.)

7. I may have missed an update about it on your PTR, but I heard that the photopass can be pre-ordered at the discount price by anyone now, not just through the stupid email they were sending out. Try this link, if it doesn't work, let me know!

8. With the photopass, do you get to put your special pictures from MNSSHP on there? That'd be the only reason I'd buy one this year. Thoughts if it's worth it??

Can't wait for more!!!

It definitely is worth it! :thumbsup2 We had about 300 photos taken (over a course of 3 weeks that is) and with all the borders you get to add we made it to about 1500 photos! on the CD!

And at MNSSHP they will give you a new card and you can add that to your account.
They do fun shots, like one in front of the hoarse at the HM or you can join the hitchhiking ghosts! So fun!!!

Hi there! I'm going to respond below in green...........

Gus actually has a Green name. His name is Costas Mihaly (Gus Michael). All of our male cats have/had Greek names. I am so hoping that we get to have time with him. I am sick about the fact that he has kidney problems.

2. WHERE did Joe order those arrangements for you from? Disney Florist?? I'm in love with the Cinderella slipper and tiara! I think Brad needs some tips!!

Arrangements came from Disney Florist. I love that place. I have the glass slipper here in our office. The tiara is on the pillow in my curio cabinet in our bedroom. We went on the Backstage Magic tour a couple of times and they took us to the Florist. It's is nothing less than amazing. OMG, I could have spent my entire trip in that place!!

3. Thank you for posting so many MNSSHP pictures; got me really, really excited! I actually bought a pair of the candy corn ears you have on at a local Disney outlet that's open for a couple of months. So cute!

I think you will love MNSSHP. It is our favorite. We were thinking of changing the month of our family trip for the future but I really want to be able to go to the party. The month we are looking at is February. The party is wonderful. There is nothing like Hallowishes. I have seen the fireworks for the Pirate and Princess Party and they didn't even compare to Hallowishes if you ask me.

4. Is your Mickey ring custom made? I'm most definitely in love with that, too.

Nope. You will laugh when I tell you where he got it............ready????????????? QVC!:laughing:

5. Love your ADR choices! We're doing only CS this trip and I've never not made an ADR! EEP! I heard that they took away the beef sandwich at Flame Tree. What do you get there? I can't eat the pork sandwich, but that was always one of my fav CS locations.

I don't know if they still have the beef. I have gotten both the beef and the pork in the past. Yummy. You know, sometimes I wonder if it would be better to have the CS dining plan. Sometimes I thin that our trips are managed by our ADR's and if we wanted to change our plans that day it would be a hassle. I think there are a lot of excellent CS places/

:scared1::eek: So the family really had no idea what the DIS was all about? I wonder how many people approached them about it? Who has LGMH's aside from us nutty DISers???

I did get the pre-order on the photopass. I am glad that I did. :thumbsup2

I think it is def worth it. We combined all of our photopass cards together. You will get a separate one for MNSSHP and you can just add it to the others that you have.

Can't wait for more!!!

I totally agree. I think it is def worth it to get the photopass. We had 200 on our last trip and you're right, once you add all the borders you get a ton more!

I have spent the better part of today scrapbooking our last Disney trip. I am sitting here listening to Disney CD's (so glad that I got them all last trip) and scrapbooking our trip from last September. I really want to get all caught up so that when we get back I can spend the fall and the winter scrapping our September 2010 trip. I have so much stuff to scrap!!

I am going to take a break and work on my Disney binder today too. I have my day by day pages set now and am working on my spreadsheet of ADR's and stuff. I also want to do punch cards for the dining plan.

I had hoped to get to Office Max to get more laminating supplies so that I can finish that stuff up as well but that's not going to happen today.

I am so bummed about it's a small world being closed while we are there. :scared1: Honestly, it is really bothering me. Stupid, I know, but it's tradition. Joe takes a picture of the two of us...you know...the kind where you hold the camera out in front of you as far as you can......every year in line at it's a small world. We're gonna be missing a year now.

I wish I had the time/patience for scrapbooking.

I know what you mean. Mark and I always do that on the Wedway People Mover; and this is the 2nd time that It's A Small World has been closed in the last four trips of ours. I'm not a happy camper.

I wonder why It's a Small World closes so much? And why, oh why, during free dining when there are sure to be a ton of people there???

I don't know. It was just three years ago when they totally redid it; rumor has that they are adding Disney characters to the ride. But with Fantasyland being torn up for the new additions, etc., you would think they would leave this alone for the time being.

Scrapbooking and listening to Disney music. Sounds like a great way to spend the day. :thumbsup2 Seriously I can't wait until school is out and I can finally get back into scrapbooking. I am so behind.

Bummer about small world being closed. They should refurb it like the DL one and add Disney characters!

In preparation for our next trip, I have been dieting. Doing Weight Watchers. Today I made three Weight Watchers recipes. I am down around 14.6 pounds so far and hope to lose at least another 15 before our trip. My goal is a total of 60 but I know it will take me some time. Here is what I made:

Chicken pot pie - 6 servings total - 5 points each serving

ScrapbookandStuff004.jpg

Yummy raspberry treats - 3 points - there is an egg custard in there too...

ScrapbookandStuff005.jpg

Date scones - 3 points - I will take these for breakfast this week.

I am trying to figure out how to apply my Weight Watchers points while we are at Disney. I think it will just come down to making wise choices because I know I won't be able to calculate points while we are there. So, wonder how many points are in a zebra dome? :rolleyes1 I have NO intention of giving them up. ;)

I am so stressed out during the week that I sort of make myself scrapbook, even though I am behind on stuff at the house. I find it so relaxing. I am way far behind too so I try not to think about that!

Oohh, I've not been to DL. Would love to see pics though of what they did.
