Got some papers?

Yesterday we received in the mail a short questionaire about how we would like our "closing"? It didn't say anything like congratulations you are approved!!!!

We need to fax it back and they I think will start the paperwork with Disney!

Does this mean our resale was approved?

Who is your resale broker? Call them and ask if your resale was approved; I'm sure they won't mind especially if it's been a while since your paperwork went to Disney. Our broker was great about keeping us updated throughout the whole process and called us immediately when she found out that Disney waived their ROFR.

was the Timeshare store. It was sent to them 3 weeks ago! We haven't heard from them at all.

I really wasn't thinking it would go through because I thought it was a good deal - maybe it wasn't as good as I thought!


Oh well, to late to call now, I guess I'll have to wait til' tomorrow!


One other question!

Is it worth having a priority closing? The cost is only $45 seems minimal but does is expedite the closing weeks or days?

I'm not sure what that extra $45 would do for you as far as expediting things but our broker never mentioned that paying an extra fee would make the closing process go any faster.

I hear you. I dealt with the Timeshare store with my resale. I didn't know it at the time that I put a bid in but we were dealing with a poor couple claiming Bankruptcy in Canada - which I didn't know about till I got the final paperwork to sign. Anyway from accepting the bid till close - was 4 months. Never a phone call, it was over Thanksgiving and Christmas so I was busy - finally I made the phone call - The answer I get - "oh, you haven't closed" It is the bankruptcy attorney's fault. We closed 2 days later.

I wouldn't pay them an extra dime!!!! They are just passing on the fees of the expensive overnight service they use - FedEx. Just use Priority Mail with the US Postal Service and get delivery confirmation - should be about $5. Unless of coursey - they decide to pay.
