Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

Well, you can tell Haddon and Ingrid that I found the "snow" at CVS, and also saw it at The Dollar Tree! :)

They will have to check that out! Thanks! :goodvibes

Wow. Nala is so freaking big! But still has that cute little puppy face! It's adorbale.. but I can't help you with what breed she is.. sorry. I loved all the artsy gifts.. that are great! I love scrapbooky type stuff! It's all really cute- great ideas!

Thanks! Yes, she has grown so much -- right now she is dragging around the dog dishes as if to say, "It's time for breakfast, Momma!" :headache:

You do have the cutest dog - what a sweet heart she is! :lovestruc

I know, I know, I NEED to get started on that TR...:surfweb: I just worry that I won't have enough to say to fill up the time since it's 9 months away. But heck, I like to chat, I can fill up those pages!

I didn't think I could fill that many months, but so far, I haven't had any problems. :lmao:

Apparently making my ADRs tomorrow morning is truly in the forefront of my brain. This morning I jerked awake at 5:45 in a panic thinking, "I need to call in 15 minutes!" (Because of the time change). Then, as I was getting ready to bolt out of bed and grab the phone and trip binder, I realized it was Saturday, not Sunday. Whew! That was a bit jarring! :rotfl:

:lmao: That is just too funny! I can't believe your big ADR day is tomorrow. I feel like over the last few weeks, time is going by faster! :woohoo:

WOW! Awesome Disney gifts!! I love how creative people on these boards are!:thumbsup2 Now you guys have a Disney puzzle! I am feeling left out:rotfl: I am excited to hear how you make out tomorrow! Be sure to let us know how it goes!!:goodvibes

Oh, I will be posting an update as soon as I am off the phone :).

The first time I ever set foot in Epcot was in February of 1983. My parents had taken me out of school (I was in the second grade), and we headed to Orlando. I remember seeing Spaceship Earth for the first time -- I was awed by it, and I remember riding Universe of Energy -- those dinosaurs scared me to death! I don't really remember a whole lot else -- maybe the original Imagination ride if I think hard enough.

I don't think we went back until my brother was born. We went in June of 1987 and stayed at the Contemporary. Michael was ten months old and I was 12. Here's a truly classic picture of me with Pluto in Mexico. That outfit! :sad2:

In April, 1998 we took Chelsea with my parents and brother for the first time. Michael would have been eleven. As you can see dressing and posing run in the family. Michael was all about being an Indiana Jones-type adventurer.

Chelsea met characters for the first time in Great Britain. She met Mary Poppins, Alice, and Winnie-the-Pooh! She was absolutely fascinated with them.

In December, 2004 our only day at Epcot was jam-packed. We met the character bus as soon as we entered the park.

Chelsea met Mary Poppins again.

The girls all headed to Norway to eat breakfast with the princesses, and the boys went off to do whatever.

Chelsea's favorite princess that day was Jasmine.

Later on that day we met Aladdin. Chelsea kept stroking his shoulder and told him she had seen Jasmine earlier.

Chelsea and Connor posed in China with their souvenir purchases. You can see that from an early age Connor enjoyed pointing his sword at his sister. ;)

In June, 2008, my children fully embraced their natural tendency towards hamming it up.

Oh, look, four years later and Connor is still holding his sister at sword point!

Over the years Epcot has really grown on me. It seems like out of all the parks it is the one where I am always discovering something new and different to do.

I called Disney dining this morning, again rather late to add our extra day and was only on the phone for 23 minutes!

Oh my gosh, while you were posting I was posting! I love your Epcot pictures, that tropical print short set is soooo special, you just have to love the things we used to wear! Chelsea looks so much like you :cutie:
It's so much fun to see the kids grow up at Disney! Connor is very much a sword person, Baylor has been too since I bought him the foam one from Target :lmao:
Chelsea didn't seem frightened at all of the characters when she was a baby, how fun was that!
Does Michael know that you posted that picture? He has to love his look......:rotfl2:

I enjoyed the pictures of the past in Epcot. I could see a little bit of Chelsea in the picture of you and a little bit of Conner in the picture of your brother Michael.

Daylight savings time Monday maybe your first period class will be half a sleep.

I totally had a outfit like you did CP! Mine was red though, HIDEOUS. :lmao: I can see Chelsea in that picture of you!

I love seeing these pictures from the past. Both Chelsea and Connor are/were adorable! I love the ones of Chelsea where she is patting Aladdin's shoulder, she just looks so happy in all of those pictures.

And :lmao: at Connor posing as a French artist. My goodness! I can't believe how much Chelsea has grown up since last June!

I forgot to say Good Luck on ADR day tomorrow! May it be a swift and painless process!

I can't wait to see your food list for Epcot....so many good snacks and meals there!

I really thought I was special in my matching tropical print shorts set!

Connor loves his swords! I think he has bought one every time he has ever gone to Disney. :rotfl:

Chelsea and Connor have always taken right to the characters. It's been great!

Michael would probably die if he knew -- now he is 22, 6'2" tall, and gravitates toward all black clothing. :lmao:

We've always thought Connor looked a lot like his Uncle Mike.

One can hope that they are all practically comatose. ;)

Good luck making Adr's, may all your plans work out and may you wait no longer than 5 minutes on hold.

Thank you! I am so nervous/excited about tomorrow morning.

The funniest thing about that outfit was how much I loved it! :rotfl:

The kids have always loved being at Disney -- I have trained them well -- Chelsea was so in awe of meeting the characters in 2004. It was so sweet.

What great pictures of EPCOT! It was fun watching the children grow!

Thanks! They are growing far too quickly.

I forgot to say Good Luck on ADR day tomorrow! May it be a swift and painless process!

Thank you! I am so looking forward to getting my ADRs taken care of once and for all.

I can't wait to see your food list for Epcot....so many good snacks and meals there!

It will be hard to narrow it all down -- I guess it would be a cop out to say, "I want to try everything there." :rotfl: I should start working on that list early. :thumbsup2

What a great post about Epcot! I think the park has so much to offer, and there is so much my family has not done yet. I can't wait to see more of the WSC, and catch the parts of Futureland we didn't get to last time. Good luck tomorrow morning -- you know we will all be waiting to hear the news!! :thumbsup2

I am so OCD, Brook, that even the notepads on my fridge are themed to the season. :rolleyes1

I trired to be OCD like that, I like the thought of it, but well....it doesn't happen! So, "Make the Season Bright" has been our notepad for about a year now. Thankfully it's almost out of paper, unfortunatly, I believe the only other one we have left is also Christmas themed.

:rotfl2: I love how you jerked awake! I so understand. For the November trip I woke up and was going about my morning stuff then suddenly realized what that day was! :scared1: I freaaaaaaaaaaaked! Joe just laughed at me. It was past 8 am, I was freakin' that I would totally mess up our plans!

Thankfully, I got everything I wanted still!

Anyway - love the Epcot pictures! The classic one of you in that stylin' flowered outfit tops the cake. I believe I might have had that same outfit, or something very similar - pastel colors, pinkish and purple, light blue, etc. I thought it was soooooo pretty! :rotfl:

Love the pics of Chelsea as a baby too-so sweet! :cutie:
