Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

Jackie---I SO loved your comments back to me about the trip and the VB...........made me laugh so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And OF COURSE I have thought about dates----since May was poo-fooed by Tom, I am now shooting for September---hoping to eat for FREE (please, please, please Mickey?!?!?!) AND I REALLY want to stay at WL!!!!! SO that has me thinking September---fall (technically, although it won't feel like it!)---WL---"outdoorsy/lodgey"----just not sure yet. Caffe Latte would definitely be in the running, but someone said they will probably be releasing some new patterns soon too since it is January........BUT YOU KNOW it will be a HIPSTER!!!! Oh Hipster, how I do love thee!!!!!!

That would be such a great time to visit! Wilderness Lodge would be heavenly! It would feel like fall just staying there! Yep, new patterns are typically released in January, so I have been keeping my eye on the site. Just in case there is something I really like! ;)

You know---sorry this is WAY OT---since we are thinking about a September trip, and Megs and I are both September babies (I'm the 4th, she's the 29th), I would LOVE to take advantage of the free ticket, but how does that affect you when you have booked a package deal and the tickets are all rolled in together????? Just wondering!!!!

If you get tickets with a package, you can opt for a couple of different birthday options instead -- a $75 gift card for souvenirs or fast passes for the family for the day. I would so do the gift card. Connor turns 10 this year on Sept. 19th so I have been playing around with the idea of a long weekend that month. If Chelsea is getting a big 13th birthday celebration, Connor should get something for his 10th -- right? ;)

Thank you! I fell in love with it when it first came out, and I am so glad I own it now. I just adore the pattern. Won't go with a thing I wear in the summer, but it would match AKL...:rolleyes1

Oh, pish posh. As long as it matches the resort, who cares? :lmao:

My VB cargo sling went so well with the Yacht Club...Pop, not so much. I wonder if that means I need a new one? ;)

You will enjoy the days when you don't have to carry the world for DS -- although there are still times that I wish I had packed an extra set of clothes for Connor since he seems to wear more food than he eats.

Technically it's not too much now, but we still like to have wipes on hand, and extra outfit, and his pajamas. So I guess now that I type it all out that is sort of a lot. Plus I bring toys for him to play with during our sitdowns and then there's all my stuff.

Okay, it's not as much as when he was really little, but it's still a lot. :lmao:

You already know the answer to this since I posted before -- we had so much fun doing it that I want to do it again this summer. This year I won't get it on my hand though since it washed off too quickly.

How long did yours last? The woman who did mine said if I could not get it wet until the next morning (I got it done around dinner time), it would set really well and should last for two weeks. Well, it did darken overnight, but it's only been a week and it's just about completely gone.

Where do you think you'll get it done this time?

I can't see it matching Beach Club though -- maybe I need to get one of the resort colors. Hmmmm.

But all of it is necessary stuff for a preschooler.

The lady said it would last about two weeks, but mine was gone by the end of the following week (I had it done on a Friday). I think it's because it was on my hand, and I wash my hands so frequently. Chelsea had hers done on her upper arm and it lasted forever! So, next time I am going with the upper arm.

hmmmmm, I wonder how long it would last on my derierr?;)
Actualy I'm thinking about my ankle.....

WOO HOO!!!

:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:

I know -- five months doesn't sound like all the long! Look at your ticker! Almost four and a half months!

Yeah! :cool1: :rotfl2: 12 more days and I can say that too!!:thumbsup2 I can't wait to hear how you do with your ADR'S!:goodvibes

March 8 -- I am thrilled that it is a Sunday -- I can spend the whole day fiddling with ADRs if I want to. ;)

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! 5 MONTHS! 5 MONTHS!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I hope it goes as quickly as the last five months!

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

The ankle was another place I was thinking would be a good spot.

Over the past two days the postman has become very popular with me. Yesterday he delivered the first of two VB hipsters that were coming my way. During dischat Saturday night the topic of VB bags for disney came up.....hmmmm was that my idea? While chatting on his own laptop dh went in search of the perfect bag for me! He ordered the hipster in "capri blue" because it just looked very Beach Club. Then I went in search of something that I thought would be more practical and found the Kensington, loved the black and browns which would look great with my khakis.
Did I read somewhere that new fabrics would be out soon? I'm going to be in soooo much trouble!

Shorts and flip flops -- that's how I roll in the summer. Wish I lived someplace where I could do that year round.

Thank you! When the weather starts warming up in a couple of months, I will really get excited!!!

It's amazing what just a few degrees distance on a map will change degrees in temperature in a place. We can leave TN and it be 40 and rainy and arrive in Orlando to 78 and sunshine. It always feels so good!

Maybe the elves could come back for a summer pre-Beach Club beach party in the living room floor on a cold winter day!

We loved when we visited in September 2006--I think it still ranks up there as our favorite time to go there so far. I DEFINITELY think the WL would just be PERFECT!!! I need to go check out the website to see if anything new is out, but I sometimes get an email too---will let you know if I see anything!

I like that they have options for you for the birthday thing in case you do the package---YEAH!!!! It will be FAR more likely that we will go there around her birthday than mine---since mine is at the beginning of the month, that is out because Tom will have monthly close meetings and reports to take care of! Good deal all around! BTW---I GOT A 40% OFF PIN CODE TODAY!!!! :cool1: :dance3: Can you think what I have been doing since then????

:rolleyes1

Hey! I read your last TR and loved it and I'm just catching up on this one. We went to Disney in Sept and were planning on going back next Sept, buuut we have a baby due now in Aug, so I'm not so sure about taking a 1mon old! I wanted to ask you, I just read the part where you took Chelsea when she was 9months old and I want to know how that was? Thanks!

Hello, don't know how I missed this AWESOME PTR but I'm here now and caught up. GREAT START! Nala is absolutely adorable, i would have had a hard time saying no too. Hope she continues to fit into your home nicely. Have you thought about where she will go while you are in Disney?
Can't wait for more!
lesley
