Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

She could always go with "Tink" since she is on the cover?!??!??!!?!?

My trip binder didn't have a name... I just called it the trip binder! But I gave it lots of hugs and it filled my heart with joy as I watched it grow! I guess you could say it became my "BFF"

So my vote is that you should call her, your "BFF", CP.

Okay, I just gotta say, this has to be the most popular book cover I have ever known!

Not that I have a personal relationship with many (any) book covers.

But, now that she has undergone all of her wishy-washiness and has transformed into what she was meant to be, she is perfect on the outside, and I'm sure she will be lovely on the inside as time goes on.

She has been transformed on the inside, too, so she is as beautiful as a Disney princess. :goodvibes

Having said that, I will now go take my daily medication for Disney weirdness.

That would be remembering that you are leaving for Disney in what -- a little over a week? :yay:

On a more normal note, I hope you guys are all feeling a bit better. Cozying down in the house for a day or two sounds like a good thing to do, though, so it ain't all bad. :)

We are feeling better -- I think our bodies benefitted from that extra rest.

If I get a chance to run by your place while I'm at Epcot, I'll snap a picture or two for you. I don't know if we will get over there, though, just because it's such a short trip. We have ADRs for Cape May on Sunday, departure day, but I think we've just about decided to take one last sweep through Magic Kingdom and get something from the bakery before we leave instead of sitting down for a meal, especially since all the Christmas stuff will be up. If we do go, though, I'll stake you out a good room and put a reserved marker on it for you!

Sounds good -- no matter what I am looking forward to all your great photos and stories!!!

Wonderful PTR so far. You change around your resorts. I have a habit of changing dates. But like you, I'm scared of losing this deal! I'll be there the end of June, so let me know how your trip goes!!!

:welcome: Yep, with this deal I am not changing anything else. Too bad we aren't headed down at the same time in June!

Oh, believe me. I would feel all warm inside too thinking about the Beach Club. Proximity to EPCOT. Beaches and Cream. Stormalong Bay. I hate that I have to wait until June to be able to read about your trip! :lmao:

You and me both! I was thinking today that seven months from now (June 13), we will be headed home. Seven months seems kind of a long way away.

Congrats on the upgrade - I've heard great things about Beach Club. :woohoo:

Sorry to hear y'all are sick. I have a head cold and it's kickin' my behind. :sad2: Feel better soon!

Love the new outfit for Binder! :goodvibes

Thank you! I hope you are feeling better, too!

CP -- I think your binder needs a name. Something beachy. ;)

I agree!

Annette perhaps?

Annette Funicello was a Mouseketeer and she starred in Beach Blanket Bingo! :rotfl:

:rotfl: I like it! Gives her some historical perspective.

:lmao:

I feel bad referring to her as SHE or HER or BINDER. She needs a name, it's only polite. :rotfl:

It's kind of like calling a baby "IT" before the birth. Just not right.

That's exactly it!

You are all cracking me up!!! I have been trying out names -- I have her lying on the desk and periodically, I will walk by and call out a random name -- nothing seems quite right though. So I will keep trying out names and hoping that Chelsea doesn't go to school and announce to our first period class, "You know my mom is trying to name her Disney trip binder." :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: My students think I am nuts as it is. ;)

Did she like it? Did she blink at you to tell you she liked it? :rotfl2:

I don't know if she liked it, but I did try both Gidget and Gidge (because I always have to try the whole nickname thing out, too). Sounded pretty good. We may have a winner due to your genius, LL! :goodvibes

And to think that there are those out in the world who think we are all normal, sane, rational people.

If they could only read this conversation....

That's settled then -- Gidget, it is!

I am trying to decide which thing I want to write about this weekend -- I have a couple of options -- maybe the ADRs, but I may decide it is too early for that.
Woo Hoo! I like Gidget. And it's never too early for ADR's! I think you should do that because I am still questioning my own. Come on CP, we only have 5 weeks to get these straight. ;) :rotfl2:

:lmao: Which is why when a co-worker came up to me and told me he found my TR I was a little shocked.

Jackie......run, don't walk to a therapist!:lmao: :lmao:
I know....pot........kettle.:rotfl2:

I'm so sad I missed all the action yesterday! My computer isn't letting me visit the boards from home for some reason....

The thought of a DIS-less weekend ahead of me is daunting, to say the least. Although my house may get clean. Which is probably why my husband blocked it. Even though he says he didn't.

I digress.

I like Gidget! :thumbsup2

They would never look at any of us the right way again...:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I think most of the people in my life suspect that I may be a little "off." :rotfl:

I just read an update on the dining thread that it is definitely December 22 now. Can I just tell you how beside myself I am??? What if I don't get what I want??? What if I can't get through on that day??? I am so going to be unable to focus on last-minute Christmas preparations until that is taken care of -- it makes me break out into cold sweats just thinking about it.

I had a co-worker come in one day when I was furtively perusing the DIS boards and asked what I was up to. I very guiltily minimized it and said, "Oh just looking at the Disney community board that I peruse from time to time." Don't know why I felt like I had been caught looking at something naughty. :rotfl:

My therapist has mouse ears, says "Golly" a lot, and likes a girl named Minnie. He prescribes frequent trips to places with castles, Dole whips, and teacups that spin. Hmmm, I think my therapist is an enabler. ;)

Agghhhh, I cannot believe that you can't log onto the DIS from home! :scared1: I think I would have a full-scale panic attack if that happened. I think I would be so distraught that I would be unable to do anything except curl up in a fetal position.

Gidget is perfect, soo cute! :thumbsup2 :cutie:

Thanks -- I am so pleased that LL came up with it!

Peruse? From time to time? :snooty:
Where's the loyalty? The pride?

P.S. I totally understand.

:lmao: The last couple of pages were hilarious! I like Gidget for a name, too. ;)

Also...I read your June TR, finally, and I was cracking up at your hubby's Benadryll incident. I felt bad laughing, but I can kind of relate to you. My dad used to (sometimes still does, when he travels), take the sleep aid Ambien, and one of the side effects is eating or drinking or doing other things when not fully awake. He has experienced that side effect, and I've witnessed it, but he has no recollection. I was told to start compiling "Ambien stories." :rotfl:

And the "don't pull a Toy Story Mania" is something that we would say to each other, too. :rotfl2: We have a handful of similar sayings.
