Hey Jackie!!

woohoo, 5.5 more days!!!

My hubby is now employed but we have to move to Houston, , but he got a good deal for these terrible economic times.

Soooo, we are still not 100% on WDW for September, but I am crossing my fingers! My kids ahve NO idea still, so it will be a big surprise if we DO go. I have to tell you though that i cannot make anything for it, I cannot do anything but plan the meal on my own, b/c hubby is cool with whatever, and my kids cannot know!! BUTR after all this moving stuff that is gonna happen, I don't wanna plan much except for where we eat and what park we'll go to. The 2 basic things you HAVE to do before a Disney trip to enjoy it. (food-check, avoid EMH days -check)

I am enjoying your PTR though and I may have to make a PTR for my sanity!! But if we have to cancel, I'd be so bummed to scrap the PTR!!!

Is it time for you to leave yet? Baylor keeps asking what day do we meet up with you all, he has no memory down here!

I'm planning on the Grey Goose slushie, if it's not wonderful, I'll make Shocker drink it and get the Grand Marnier, I had it in March and it was tasty!

It's easy to lose track of days down at Disney! I wish it was time for us to leave, but only six more days -- it should fly by for both of us!!!

Jackie, you're so organized! I like that you have a trip drawer. I usually have a designated laundry basket. It's not quite as neat, but it works. My goodness, let the countdown begin, you are sooooooooo close. I'm excited! I can only imagine how you must feel.

Oh, trust me, the trip drawer is far from neat -- I have been tossing stuff in for a year, so there are layers of stuff like a fossil table!

I'm so jealous that you leave so soon. I love the lime green flip flops. We have a box that I covered in lime green paper that holds all our goodies from trip to trip.

Oh, I like the box covered in lime green paper idea! The flip flops are Chelsea's -- I discovered today when I started unloading the drawer that Chelsea has also been chucking stuff in there for the past year as well!

Look at your guide books, all tabbed. You look ready to go, M'am!

Yes, I learned that trick during my Masters, but now I use it for Disney planning.

All I remember from the Magical Star Cocktail was that it was passion fruit liqueur I believe. It was really divine, it also had coconut rum in it but it wasn't overly coconutty. Mom had one too and she loved it. Also, Jen tried mine and she liked it. So you have three seals of approval!

A trip drawer...that is a great idea! I have a box that I was throwing things into....but we outgrew the box a couple of times.

Love seeing the kids pictures..I should do this!

Thank you! It is very neat to be saying, "this time next week!" Although when I am on the DIS at night it is usually, "This time next week we will be getting ready for bed." Not terribly exciting.

Oh, Lori! I am so happy for you that DH got a job! I know how much you will miss Louisiana though!

Nah. After Charles' stomach problems on the last trip and having to essentially buy one of each thing offered for sale at the POFQ gift shop, I vowed we were bringing it all on this trip! I feel like I am packing a mini-medicine cabinet!

I was going to buy a new Vera -- I love the Bali Gold print, but then I saw photos of the Mickey Bar Tote and knew that was what I wanted!

I love how organized you are - I'm taking mental notes. All our trip stuff usually ends up on a counter somewhere and drives me nutty as it piles up. I like the idea of a box or a drawer.

Jackie....has Charles tried Prilosec?? That works wonders for me, especially down in Disney. You can buy it in a 14 day supply so it would be perfect to take. I took it this last trip and in September, I didn't need Tums or anything.

Ihave to bring a bit of every kind of OTC medicine just in case. I want to be as healthy as possible at WDW. Nothing is going to slow me down....
