Your pictures and talk about packing and getting the car all cleaned up has me all excited this morning. I'm thinking it will be fun to picture you guys getting ready for _______ this day next week!

Of course, I realize you'll still be asleep (well, they will anyway) this exact time next week, but what does the morning hold after everyone is awake?

I know the giraffes and all their pals will be out on the AKL lawn to greet you, wherever it is you are going. That's pretty cool stuff!

Oh, Chelsea looks so cute! She is so cute with her excitement, I can't wait to see what kind of ears she designs!

I wish you could have heard her yesterday when she was looking at the photos of the store, "Mom, they have rhinestone ears! Mom, they have a castle patch!" We may have to go there first on Saturday!

OK - I've got lots of catching up to do, but first let me say....your kids are so cute. I am taking my 9 year old nephew on this trip and I will be so excited to see everything through his eyes. This is his first trip and he is excited! My kids are 14 and 16, so they are no longer at an age where they get super excited. My DS16 says he just wants to meet some "hot girls" at the pool.

Thank you! Your nephew and Connor are the same age -- he is going to have a blast!

Judging by your ADR's I think we will be in some parks at the same time. I think MK and Epcot during the daytime. Looks like I actually get there two days after you. We arrive on Monday. Why?????? You ask......I specifically scheduled the arrival so my son could play in a college showcase soccer tournament. But guess what......a recent MRI just confirmed that he has a stress fracture (which I personally think occured during impact in one of his games) and now he can not play. I just found this out today! So I have to sit around all weekend waiting to leave. Wish I could just leave a day early!

Promise to read more tomorrow!

What a shame about your son's stress fracture! I bet you will spend the weekend getting all set and ready! Kidani is going to be so fun to stay at -- did you get a 1-bedroom? I am going to post our final itinerary in the next couple of days -- I hope we run into each other at some point!

Those are two of my favorite activities, too! While we were at the pool, I was thinking how much I am looking forward to the AKL pool!

Even cars need to be bright and shiny to meet Mickey.

We have a scrapbooking store here called Archiver's that has fabulous stuff -- found the bags in their clearance bin.

There's no telling with Chelsea, but it is sure to reflect her personality.

That's what I was thinking about the car -- of course once the kids are in there with their ritz bits, it won't be so clean.

I cannot wait to experience the Mouse Ears store... Luke needs a pair! Chelsea is going to once again have some beautiful pictures.

With park hoppers, I am thinking we could duck into MK very quickly Saturday afternoon so Chelsea can make her ears the first day.

No, I don't think we will be going a day early this time -- we have to drop Nala off at the kennel and then we are having dinner with my parents. We will be up and out of here pretty early on Saturday though.

Those bags are so cool and your DD with her pirate ears....sooo cute! I LOVE those ears. I'm gonna buy myself a pair next time. The design your own ears store is so cool. I can't wait to see what she designs either. She will love it there!

Thank you! I am not planning on making my own ears, but once I get in there and see what all is offered, I might not be able to resist.

I am hoping for no rain as well, but looking at the weather forecast, we may not be able to escape it. Fingers crossed that it is only quick afternoon thunderstorms!

I will gladly adopt you, Christine -- especially if you volunteer to do the not-so-fun things on my to-do list today -- take Chelsea to buy the new Sims 3 game and get dog food and gum.

It takes us anywhere from seven to eight hours depending on traffic and how many times we have to stop.

I am always up for a rousing game of "This time next week..."

If I were posting when you posted, it would go something like this:

This time next week I will be waiting for the wake-up call from Stitch. I will probably already be awake and creeping around the hotel room laying out clothes and wishing everyone would just wake up.

If I were posting right this minute (which I guess I am ), it would go something like this:

This time next week we will be standing outside the gates of Disney Hollywood Studios revving up to make the dash to get our Toy Story Mania fast passes!

We are so very ready for Animal Kingdom!!! And everything else. Yesterday Charles said, "You are going to tear up again when we drive under the Disney World sign, aren't you?" Like there is really any doubt that I will.

Yes and this time next week would be fun!

I could get pretty creative with this. This time next week I will be hoping that Connor doesn't pitch a fit about TSM and that Charles will stay awake for the Great Movie Ride. OR

This time next week all that will be separating Chelsea and Bo are the turnstiles.

So exciting that you will be at Hollywood Studios in one week. I have been working on our schedule a little bit. MeMom has left it up to me. We will have a loose plan, but it could all go out the window depending on how the girls hold up. It will be a much different trip with two.

Yes, having two will change things around a bit! Just wait until those two both have opinions on what they want to do and when. I am trying the loose plan this time -- I know which parks and on which days because of ADRs, but otherwise, I haven't done much nitty gritty planning as far as where to go and what to do in each park -- well, kind of -- I am "trying" to have a loose plan at least.

Chelsea is cracking me up with all of her excitement, although I can't say that I wouldn't be exactly the same way! I found my Minnie ears from last time I went when I was unpacking from the move, and wore them around the house all day long. I can't wait to see what ears she designs!

By this weekend I will probably be glad I have some extra time to do a few more things around the house. I do hate to be rushed before I leave.

My son actually took the news about the stress fracture and not playing better than I thought he would. I think he was fooling himself when he said it didn't hurt.

We are staying in a 2BR in Kidani. There will be 6 of us all together - DH, me, DS14, DS16, Nephew, and DS16 friend. Unfortunately, I did not have enough points for a savanah view so we have a standard view. But I think I can cope if I take my morning coffee into the savanah viewing areas!

Looking forward to your final itinerary. You are super Organized!

Tell Chelsea when she makes her own ears to try several ear pieces and beanies. We found that the snaps that hold them together were a bit loose on some of them. I can't wait to see what she chooses!
