Got our VGT room assignment

I'm sorry goofymama. I would trade rooms with you if i could! I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to how they assign rooms. I feel bad that there are only 3 of us, and we got a room better suited to your family. I'm just excited to be on the ship surprising my child with this cruise, and the fact that i paid about half of what they normally charge for room.

I wonder if there's a preference among the GT passengers? Maybe they give the nicer cabins to high level past passengers, or first time cruisers or... ?

Any guesses?

No idea. I think it was just luck of the draw. There were very few non-4 category verandah's available. I think I was just one of the few that got the left over 5's and 6s.

To be sure, Cat 5A's are nothing to turn my nose up at and normally I would have been thrilled!

Oh, no worries! I've stayed in an inside cabin before and loved it and had originally booked a 5D, so a 5A is great.... I just got my hopes up a bit seeing so many Cat 4s being assigned. I certainly will NOT be disappointed once we step on that ship! It is going to be a fantastic trip and I cannot wait!!! Just 11 more days, Yea!

LOL I'm just glad the stateroom game is over for us! I'm a super planner and with not 1, but 2 cruises it was driving me nuts!! We'll be on the road in 48 hours so we can jump on the first 1 Saturday. Unfortunately now I no longer have an excuse to goof off today.
