Got our VGT room assignment

We got ours today. 13 day out. Cat 4E. If I'm not mistaken it's an oversized veranda with loungers.

Nice!! so thats 3 of us and we all ended up w/4's

I stayed in 9634 twice and its a fabulous room. Ours was also connecting and we didn't hear a peep out of the family next door the entire cruise both times. It's a short walk to the aft stairs/elevators so you can run up to Cabanas anytime.

Just know that the aft elevator does not go down to deck 2. You can either walk to midship (it's a really really long hallway) or take the aft elevator to deck 3, walk to the atrium and take the stairs 1 flight down. That walk didn't seem as long (I know it's the same thing though lol).

Thats what hubby noticed was how close they were to those elevators, and i'm with you on the walk, we'd probably do the same thing and think same thing, breaks it up.

I'm glad to see that people are being assigned cat 4 rooms with VGT! Makes me a little hopeful for the same luck with mine in July

I've been checking for our upcoming sailing, and while you can still book almost every category, there are no actual rooms for selection (meaning you can only book a guarantee room) until you get to Cat 4. Now I'm wondering how many rooms Disney has to have left before they only open up for guarantee bookings.

Oh my gosh! I hope to be so lucky! We have 2 vgts as well for our family of 5.

Impatiently waiting hoping to find out our room assignment Monday. So I'm hoping it's a good sign that only staterooms available now for 3 are verandahs. Only 6A, 5E, and all 4s left. Cat 5 and 6 are booking for GTY only, so I'm hoping this increased my chances for a cat 4

On our cruise there's nothing left but guarantees... I'm not sure what this means for me! I've probably got another 2 weeks to wait for my cabin assignment, though...

Thats what I was hoping for too .... But I wonder if they have pulled those 5 and 6 category cabins to assign tp all of us waiting for our VGT assignments. Either way, we should know by tomorrow

Just got mine. Its a 5A on deck 10. The good news is that it is under the concierge rooms so we won't have the dreaded sound of chairs being moved around on deck!

Bad news is that I saw so many people being assigned CAT 4 rooms, that I'm slightly disappointed. My family of 4 sure could have used the extra space in one of those rooms. But I know that I'll get over it quickly once on board.

Bad news is that I saw so many people being assigned CAT 4 rooms, that I'm slightly disappointed. My family of 4 sure could have used the extra space in one of those rooms. But I know that I'll get over it quickly once on board.

I wonder if there's a preference among the GT passengers? Maybe they give the nicer cabins to high level past passengers, or first time cruisers or... ?

Any guesses?
