Got our VGT room assignment

For those of you waiting. We just got it today for our May 12th sailing on the Fantasy. (16 days out)

Stateroom 6092 it appears from deck plans on this site. It is a 4D Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, so a bit of an upgrade from a Reg. Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah and it's port side. Not sure which is better port or starboard, but we shall see soon.

Were you definitely VGT and not GTY ?

I just called DCL and the rep said that my room was not assigned and VGT were not out for the 5-12 sailing. We booked VGT.

We sail on the next day, May 13th on the Dream. We are booked "Category VGT, #GTY".

I sure wish we would get our room assignment. It is making it really hard on FE list people when we can not give them a cabin number.

I have been trying to check on the DCL web site all day and the part we need to log in is down.

Got my VGT for Dream May 6.......category 4C!!! I kinda liked the surprise factor of waiting for a room assignment. We will book this special deal again in the future if it works out for us again

I am hoping to see something tomorrow but the not knowing makes it easier to keep the secret from our DD. She thinks we have an inside magic porthole room since that is what I was looking for when we booked it. I want to surprise her with the verandah when we first step into the room.

I think I am still in disbelief that we are really going on a cruise!

Thanks for the post! You have me excited for our cruise, but it is not until October, we have a GTY room, we paid for a cat 5C, I will be fine with that cat, but if we get upgraded that be great, I am just going to be as patient as I can and wait for our assignment, but it is hard

Oh how fun!!! great upgrades. We have a 6a gty. I will be happy with that but secretly hoping for the larger cabin

When I booked mine for the 5/19, I got on the dcl website, looked at the verandah categories and it had VGT available. Then, you book it. It's not available for every cruise though, which may be why you're not seeing it.
