I called at 7:20 am, after being on hold for an hour!! I got an agent who seemed to need some coffee. She moved very slow! Anyway, went down my list and EVERYTHING was booked. I really wanted Fantasmic on Tuesday (either M. Melrose or B Derby). Booked. Sci Fi lunch on Tuesday. Booked. Le Cellier was of course booked the entire stay. Others that I wanted like Cape May were booked as well.

Here is another problem: I am doing a split stay BC / GF and she would NOT book the 2nd half of my stay because it wasn't 90 days out. I have to wait for that reservation to be 90 days.

Just to let you know how it went. Not well.

Hope everyone else has better luck than I did!

Go to on line dinng every chance you can and keep checking. You never know what can open. Good Luck :thumbsup2

Thank you. I'll do that. Has this worked for anyone? I wonder if it has worked for getting Le Cellier?

I was able to book LeCellier for a late lunch last week and my 90 day mark was May 29th. So anything is possible! Good luck!

omg, I can't believe things book up that fast! I hope some things open up for you!!!
I will have to keep this in mind for sure for our stay next summer!

not positive but I have a feeling that if you check online at 6am est time that they open up some more tables. I think that is how i was able to get le cellier this morning, People keep saying check for availablilty for the end of your trip but I think trying the day of the 90 day mark may be more accurate? For ex, my 90 day was today annd I was able to snag le cellier for the first day of my trip...Again this is just a feeling no hard evidence, can't hurt to test it.

It's not that bad during the summer with no Free Dining. The only thing challenging is LeCellier and maybe Chef Mickey's (never tried that). But I have always been able to book easily in June and July. 'Ohana was easy to get to at the 90 day mark for July. I am going next week, and I keep changing my reservations around, I am not having much trouble at all with less than 7 days to go. June was even easier. Last year in June we walked up to Cape May for breakfast and dinner without any trouble.

when did you want Cape May? I have one at 8:05 am on 9/28 you can have if you want - it's for 3 people.

I think they do open up more tables on exactly 90 days. I've seen that twice already.

Our ADR window opened up Saturday as we are arriving on 9/25. I called at exactly 7:00, got through 30 minutes later, and started making ADRs for the week. We wanted CRT on 9/26 but was told it was completely booked that day for breakfast and lunch. I then went online on Sunday (90 days from 9/26) at exactly 6:00 am, asked for a 10:00 CRT and was offered both 9:45 and 10:15. When we booked Tusker House for 9/27 on Saturday, the onlything I could get was a 10:20 that required separate tables. I went online at 6:00 this morning (90 days from 9/27), and requested a 10:00 and got 9:55 at one table.

Now, I suppose it is possible those ADRs I got were cancellations from the day before, but I think it is much more likely that they were new slots opened up exactly 90 days out.

I had trouble with my ressies too. I called at 7 am on my 90 day mark and got through right away. Unfortunately, 'Ohana, Mama Melrose and Tony's were all booked up for the dinner times I needed (got everything else). BUT.........

I kept checking back everyday online and I was able to get all 3 dinners for the exact times I needed. Cancellations must have happened but I checked everyday, multiple times a day!

So, keep checking online and hopefully something will open up for you!

:scared1: I would keep trying. I called at my 90 day mark, over slept and called at 11am WDW time only to find out that the system was down. I called 3 hours later and got everything including CRT, Cali Grill and MaMa Melrose for a Fantasmic Dinner Package!

Good Luck and keep us posted!

pixiedust: to you.

Thank you so much! That is so nice of you! We have 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant, would that work? Also, would we be out of there in time for Epcot opening? (Gotta get those Soarin fastpasses!)

Thank you!!!

I know its hard not getting what you want. I got everything i wanted but a few times werent great. I had rechecked constantly on the computer and got 2 great times and rescheduled them. As far as certain restaurants maybe try something new. I was talking to a CM on the phone and she said "forget about the message boards, there are so many places that are great that you would never think about". Also mentioned the fact that maybe not all places are good for all families. start researching a little more there has to be something comparable.

I'm going to do that. It's time I try some new places. It's not THAT huge of a deal since I have a 1 year old and they are unpredictable in restaurants. We might be doing a lot of CSs because of that.

I'll keep trying online too.

The planning never ends!! My dh is about to strangle me!

Keep trying, you'd be surprised what opens up day to day. We've had some pleasant surprises when calling back to switch things up, including getting a much better Fantasmic time & place.

And by the way, you mention trying for a Fantasmic on a Tuesday - looking at your trip meter, are you going in September? I thought the only Fantasmic shows were on Sunday & Thursday in September...did they add some more shows (I HOPE SO...otherwise it's going to be very crowded, reserved seats or not.)

Yes - I've had tremendous luck modifying my ADRs to better times just by keeping an eye on the dining reservation openings online. One day nothing will be open, but then a day or two later an opening will pop up. All is not lost; I'm willing to bet that you get EVERYTHING you want. I'll all-but promise.
