Got nothing I wanted!

I got a lunch at LeCellier for 12:30PM on a weekend during free dining just a couple of weeks ago... my 90 day mark was mid-May! :cool1:

People do cancel so don't give up on your favorites yet... make other ADR's so you have something, but keep trying and you just might get lucky! :thumbsup2

I called at 7:20 am, after being on hold for an hour!! I got an agent who seemed to need some coffee. She moved very slow! Anyway, went down my list and EVERYTHING was booked. I really wanted Fantasmic on Tuesday (either M. Melrose or B Derby). Booked. Sci Fi lunch on Tuesday. Booked. Le Cellier was of course booked the entire stay. Others that I wanted like Cape May were booked as well.

Here is another problem: I am doing a split stay BC / GF and she would NOT book the 2nd half of my stay because it wasn't 90 days out. I have to wait for that reservation to be 90 days.

Just to let you know how it went. Not well.

Hope everyone else has better luck than I did!

Go online and CHECK and you may just get lucky, many have!!!!
Best of Luck...I really hope yopu can atleast get some of what you want. Also check the thread that is for cancels/exchanges and maybe that'll work???

Does anyone have the link to reserve online? I didn't know you could do that. I thought the only way to reserve dining was to call; what am I missing? You guys are making me nervous with my 90 day window fast approaching.

Find the restaurant you are looking for, for example Le Cellier http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/dining/le-celier-steakhouse/ and click on the link on the left hand side to make a reservation. It's pretty intuitive but I would encourage you to go in and play around with it so you feel comfortable when you need to use it for real.

BTW, you will have to put in dates that are less than 90 days out since it won't let you reserve later than that.

When I got free dining I was totally estatic!!! What I didn't realize is...EVERYONE ELSE DID TOO!!!! That put the competition for adr's off the chart. I have never had a problem getting where and when I wanted until this trip. Still satisfied, got the infamous Le Cell res:banana:, but did not get O'Hana's:sad: Couldn't get Fantasmic package either, but...not gonna base my vacation totally on eating!!! Wishing you much pixie dust hoping you get what you want!!!

I have been trying since Friday for a 50s PT and couldn't find anything open 9/28 for dinner (no matter what time or party size). I tried this AM right before 6 and there was 2 availabilties popped up...

Which makes me wonder whether they don't hold back a certain number of reservation slots and release them later... just a thought...

But, again, it goes to show that it's worth continuing to check even if you don't hold out a lot of hope... you might just hit it right!

I'm looking on this calendar and it does say Fantasmic on Tuesday 9/29 at 8pm:

Keep trying, you'd be surprised what opens up day to day. We've had some pleasant surprises when calling back to switch things up, including getting a much better Fantasmic time & place.

And by the way, you mention trying for a Fantasmic on a Tuesday - looking at your trip meter, are you going in September? I thought the only Fantasmic shows were on Sunday & Thursday in September...did they add some more shows (I HOPE SO...otherwise it's going to be very crowded, reserved seats or not.)

How in the world have I never noticed that before? Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

1) That is the way it is supposed to run.
2) You have two reservations.
3) You need t wait for the 90-day mark on any reservation.
4) Thus, you must wait for the second ressie date to do 90-days.
5)) If it was different, it would be unfair to others.

ADR issues is one of the main reasons I love booking through Dreams Unlimited. I am going in August for free dining I got every ADR on my desired days/times when DU books them.

Good Luck-maybe you can get Le Cellier by checking online. I have heard of people getting in that way.

Wow, I find it hard to believe you couldn't get an ADR at Cape May at least. My 90+10 day was just Sunday. My call was picked up at 7:35AM and I got everything, including an 8AM Chef Mickeys and a 6:15pm Crystal Palace. (Was actually surprised that I did get them so close to my requested time). Were you somewhat flexible on the times?

Does DU have a leg up on the rest of us? I booked my trip thru them, but I did my own ADRs. I figured they would not have someone on the phone at 7AM on a Sunday for my ressies. Be nice to know for next year.

Yeah, for some reason that last week of September there's no Fantasmic on Sunday (the 27th). I was glad because that's when we'll be there. And since we didn't intend to go anyway (I don't want to fight the line....) I'd rather have a slower park day!

Is there only one showing, or two that night?

oh, okay.

I got all the restaurants I wanted but some at not great times, so I've been checking several times every day online. I seem to have more success around the afternoon, 4pm my time which would be 5pm DW time, which could very well be fluke. But keep trying!!!!
