Got my FedEx package today. I am thrilled! The BCV print is really nice and I even love the backpack. The contracts are signed and will be sent out in the morning. I can't wait to get my real member card.

Thanks to all for you help. I know I will continue to have questions and everyone is so nice to help and answer them.

Hey you guys, don't make my head start spinning about adding on points already. My DH will take me to have my head examined. I have already stressed him out.

My DH, DS, and my parents are going in October, however, we will be staying at OKW (on some rented points before I considered DVC). Will I be able to go and take a look at BCV even though we are not staying there?

To take advantage of Member Benefits, like 10% off at restaurants, do you just show your member card?

Lastly, can I really change my User Name. I guess I will have to post under ....A.K.A dvcwannabe

The temporary paper cards that come in your packet have your official membership number on them. You can use them to make a reservation today!

Yes - you can go look at the BCV - just go to the BCV and ask to see the model room!

No - to use the discounts - you just show your Disney ID (room keys) I know you are renting points - but it still should say DVC member.
