Well we had to make an appointment for monday to put her to sleep. She won't even get up to go out. My dh has to force her out and that takes all her strength. She has also stopped eating her food.
Yeah she is getting the right amount. She weighs between 185-195. So she gets about as much as my dh would get. My vet actually has her getting the meds and pain meds 2x a day. So she isn't in pain unless she gets up and walks. Which is about 2 a day right now. She just lays on her bed and the kids feed her and give her water. She's happy b/c she is finally getting table food.
Maybe she could use a higher dose. You might want to ask your vet about it in order to help make the dog more comfortable. You can be pretty liberal with medication at this point, the goal being comfort, just like in terminally ill people. Cancer pain is can be severe, whether it's a person or an animal. And dogs like yours (and mine) can be very stoic, so they're probably in more pain than they're letting on (that's what my vet told me when my GSD had a bone tumor.) I'm sorry you all have to go through this.
