Got a fraud email supposedly from Bank One (hosts Disney Visa)

Just wanted to alert people who have Disney Visa (which is offered by Bank One) - there is a fraud email out there that looks exactly like Bank One's website that asks for you to reenter your user name and pass word - don't do it - it's a scam!

Bank One (or any other credit card company) will NEVER ask for such info in an email . I get these fraud attempts all the time (I've had them claiming to be from PayPal, Ebay, Earthlink, Visa, and others).

If you have a question about your accounts, find the real phone numbers for the company and call them direct - never give this info over the net.

Hope this helps. Just wanted to save someone else the hassle of being "taken"

I received the same email this afternoon.
It's actually a pretty good facsimile of a Bank One web page. Even the links to all of the Bank One services work (ie. ATM locations, etc).
I contacted their credit card fraud department and forwarded them a copy of the mail I received. The representative I spoke to hadn't heard about this particular phishing email yet.

Keep an eye out, the scammers did a nice job with this one and it would be easy to fall prey to it.

I got this one today also. Very real looking. Just good sense to never give that kind of information to any email asking for it. Also I noticed the date says December 18, 2003.

I always get these fraudelent emails from e-bay asking you for your debit card #, pin number, bank account number and ss number. I would never give these out, but there is countless people that do!
