I have one too for my Canon S3 IS, but I went with the GorillaPod SLR version just for the added safety/durability of camera weight. Be sure to find out the weight of your camera including batteries; then look at the specs for each GorillaPod model.
However, I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
I bought it from the GorillaPod website www.joby.com because I couldn't find the SLR version locally at all. Went with the "no packaging" version & used coupon code "GorillaPodLOVE" to save 10% (good till end of 2006)....and free shipping.
