Goofy's Candy Comp. Question...

For those of you who have purchased some of the fun snacks (choc-dipped rice crispies, choc-dipped pretzels, etc), how long do they stay good? We were thinking of taking some home, but may not get to DTD on our last day, so would they still be good 2, 3 or even 4 days later?

We bought the chocolate/candy covered pretzels one evening and took them back to our resort, thinking we would eat them later in the evening and forgot about them. We found them 2 days later - they were OK. I'm sure they would have been better if we had eaten them when we intended to, though. I would be careful not to leave them out in the sun!

The part of the pretzel without chocolate will get stale quicker than the rest of it.

I didn't have any problems with the Mickey Rice Krispy Treats.

I went to DTD on my last day of my vacation and got a chocolate and candy covered rice crispie treat for my little sister. We made a few stops on the way home, so I didn't end up giving it to her until 3 days later, but she said it still nice and gooey on the inside when she ate it!

Pop it in the fridge and it will be spectacular! I did and had mine 2 days after our return home!

We put our rice krispies treat and chocolate dipped pretzels in sandwich bags once. They were still good after 2 days.

We put ours in the fridge, and it was still good after more then a week.

Rice Krispy Treats that is... We had Pretzels as well, put they seemed to get a bit soft.

Thanks for the tips everyone! We might buy the rice krispies treats and pop them in the fridge before we head home! And if we just happen to get pretzels, guess we'll just have to eat 'em there!

Actually the pretzels that DH and I bought last year were still good more than 2 weeks after we got back. We did a poor job with the dining plan and had more than 20 snack credits. Needless to say, we came home with pretzels, marshmallows, rice krisipies, etc. And it was all still good weeks later.
