Where is the best places for a child to find goofy? thanks

Just about anywhere, but if you want a guarantee (as much as you can guarantee anything ) you can eat at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary or at Goofy's Clam Bake at the Beach Club.

We found him in Toontown once, but there's a spot in Animal Kingdom where the characters dress up like they're on safari for autographs and photos. Every time we've been by, it's been Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy, I think...... Minnie and Goofy are regulars, anyway.

Goofy should be no problem! As said above, Goofy is at alot of character meals like Chef Mickeys and especially the Beach Club Breakfast at the Cape May restaurant. He is also frequently right where you enter Magic Kingdom (Town Square), usually in the mornings maybe to early afternoon. At Epcot, he is usually at the Character Connection, a new place in Innoventions not far from the Land. At MGM, he makes appearances in front of the Big Hat, usually in late mornings to early afternoon. And at Animal Kingdom, he is usually in Camp Minnie-Mickey on a trail with his name listed on a sign.

At most places he meets, Goofy might rotate in and out, but you can always ask a castmember standing around if Goofy will be making appearances that day!

On my last two trips (late Oct and early Dec) I really didn't see any overwhelming "Wow" characters, except for maybe Little John. I felt the number of characters and variety was WAY down, since the Castle is no longer used and the "face" rotation at MGM seems to have dissapeared!

It does seem that Goofy is meeting alot in front of Magic Kingdom nowadays. Haven't seen him by Barnstormer in awhile!

he was at a character dinner last year that we had at the liberty tree tavern SP?--all dressed in colonial garb (feb 2005) ...oops not last year yet!!!we got lots of picts...not that busy and he kept coming back to my kids....

We saw him him there too the last time we went and he signed my daughter's autograph book with his picture in the autograph..not seperate...he actually incorporated the picture into the autograph. She was ecstatic because Goofy is her all time fav!

As everyone has reported Goofy is very easy to find. Last week we saw him at every park.

We saw him everywhere when we were there in October. He is also at Donald's Breakfast.

I got tackled by Goofy in the big store in Toon town. It was late in the evening (about 9:30 for a 10pm closing) and all of a sudden there was a change in music and the characters all came out to dance. I was waiting for my DD to have a turn with Cinderella when Goofy grabbed me from behind and gave me a cross between a hug and a tickle. My son had told him that he was my favorite but that I wouldn't pose for picture (very untrue!!) My daughter was laughing so hard she completely dissed Cinderella. It was all very cute. The characters and customers were all very relaxed and just having fun!

Goofy rocks. He is my all-time favorite! I have a goofy watch that tells time backwards. I have had it for about 12 years.

I want to ride barnstormer with Goofy!!!

One day we were sitting out of the way of the crowds on the ramp up to the picture place(By the train station) in MK eating ice creams before heading out and Goofy and Max came out getting ready to go to their lines and they stopped to say hi to our boys before going. It was really nice. It also happened with Chip and Dale one time. We didn't even know, we were just sitting in the shade away from everyone else.
