My bag is a Vera Bradley hipster and I love it! It's a perfect park bag - it carries a lot but doesn't get too heavy and the across the body style makes it super easy getting on and off rides. I actually got mine on an online shopping boutique called Ruelala. Although there are lots of stores around that sell VB and you can buy them online!

DAY FOUR – pt. 3

When booking this trip, Miguel’s only request (food-wise) was that we must eat at T-Rex! We had tried it on our last visit and really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere, so we of course had to return on this trip.

After another relaxing afternoon at AKL, we made the long trek back to DTD to dine with the dinos!

When we arrived at the entrance to the restaurant, it was packed!
It was a bit of a hassle getting in since it was so busy and their system of checking people in could definitely be more efficient. Thankfully though, we didn’t have to wait to long before we were taken to our table back in the forest area of the restaurant (sorry, don’t remember the actual name of the room).

Last year we were up front in the red room where the meteor shower takes place so I was glad to be in a different room this time, although if I had my choice I’d rather be seated in the Ice room! (Which I’m guessing is the Ice Age?) I just love how it glows!

After pondering the extensive menu, we finally decided on our fare for the evening…For FI the boneyard buffet and for me the appetizer sampler.

The nice thing about T-Rex is that there is plenty to occupy you while you wait for your food!

Soon enough, our food arrived and we dug in! It had been about 9 hours since our lunch at DHS!

Once again, we were impressed with the quality of the food at T-Rex. I feel like you definitely get your money’s worth here because you get so much food.

FI’s boneyard buffet was quite the buffet – a half slab of ribs, half of a chicken, fries and cole slaw! Definitely for the hungry!

Miguel said his dish was very yummy. I didn’t get the chance to try any of it because I was too consumed in my own monstrous dish!

My appetizer sampler was a tower of three plates, filled with bruschetta (very good) onion rings (also very good) queso dip (good) and quesadillas (decent, although FI thought they were great).

Overall, my dish was very tasty. I will say though, last year I got the burger and that is what I will be having when we return to T-Rex in the future – it was the best burger I had on Disney property. So, if you are going to be dining at T-Rex and you like burgers – try one!

You literally had to roll us out of T-Rex we were so full! Our ADR was at 8:05 I believe, so by the time we finished our massive meals, it was pretty late. Plus, we were so full we were almost in pain – there would be no exploring of DTD tonight! Instead we decided to just call it a night. We needed to rest up for another early morning ADR!

I have been contemplating T-Rex, but since we are on the DDP and I don't believe they honor it, I don't think we'll be dining here. My DH his burgers, though!

I would to go to T-REX! I dinosaurs and my DS18months does, too! I am SOO sad that it isn't on the DDP. I'm considering paying OOP for it, though. Your photos made me want to go there a 1000 times more!

Yeah, unfortunately T-Rex isn't on the DDP - I wish it was though! Thankfully we had some disney gift cards that we used for this meal. I hope you get to try it sometime in the future - it really is a fun place to eat!

If you love dinos this is definitely the place for you! Its such a fun restaurant - so much to see and good food too! I agree, I so wish T-Rex was on the dining plan - it would make it that much better! I think its worth paying OOP, though!

It's funny that you said you would prefer to be seated in the Ice cave, because that's the last place I ever want to be seated in again. To me it was so annoying with the changing lights, and just hurt my eyes if anything. Other then that I loved the place and was really impressed with the Nachos. They were soooooo yummy!

Anyway... great TR and great pictures. I'm glad I came upon it and look forward to reading more.

You should give T-Rex a try - its so good! And it does get super crowded at the front. Their check-in system isn't the most efficient so everyone just has to crowd around outside because you have to wait for your name to be called. Buzzers would be so much better. And the people crowding in to go to the gift shop and see the dinosaurs makes it worse. Oh, and there's a build-a-dino inside! Lots to attract people

I hope eventually to try out all of the rooms! I definitely preferred the forest area over the meteor shower room cause it's so loud in there!

Hi Courtney! I'm back from my week at Disney, and I'm trying to get caught up. It's funny that I sat down to read your update, and it was about eating at T-Rex. We ate there during this trip and I had the same thing as you!
