We'd be shouting HOOPLA! and waiting for Samantha to start singing:

A knapsack on my back!

And so on. Then we'll hear them all sing "When the Saint Go Marching In"
at at end and we'd have to go back to our hotels (or home for some).

That's what I want to be doing right now.

i was just wondering...I usually see where most of my friends are and stumble upon the closing party. Are the closing areas planned in advance? If so I never got the memo. Just curious I liked the party at the Forbidden Temple!

Woohoo! It's not often I can get last word...usually a fluke because of how slow closings usually are for me...

If I recall correctly there were 3 boys in there: Out, Cursed, and Green.Alien (That was a boy, right? I don't see any hair under that hat...)

As much as I love the Adventurer's Club and how I wish I was just saying Kungaloosh.... I have to tell the truth and admit that I was saying night to my friend Kongaloose! But I do miss being able to say his name since it has a capital letter in it!

And I can't believe nobody has done it yet....here is is many hours later, but you know you just can't say it once, so in response to Briar....

The Adventurer's Club is pretty unique in that it combines what you normally
see in "streetmosphere" in Disney-MGM, mixed in with scripted shows that
feature the actors singing. The shows are the same each night, (with
an extra show featuring the Maid on weekends), but the ACTORS rotate
roles. So the actor portraying the club's dashing aviator Hathaway Browne
might play the club Treasurer, ichthyologist Otis T. Wren the next night.

Each actor/actress puts his/her own spin on the characters, and there's a
LOT of room for ad-libs. If they have an opening for such, it makes for a
hilarious evening.

What most people don't realize when they walk into the club is that it appears
to be a rather humdrum bar when there aren't any shows in the Main Salon.
Stay for awhile. One of the characters will announce which show is coming
up next (or if they're about to induct you as a new member of the club.

The reference I made about the Hoopla! show is the last show of the evening,
where a few cast members will sing novelty songs in the Library. I've seen
some funny ad-libs during this show, but mostly, it's just fun.

It's hard to put a label on the place, but "comedy cabaret" would seem to
be appropriate.

As far as I know, the closing 'parties' are not usually planned in advance.
I usually log in and find Out, he comes up with such great 'closing' spots

Out is a great "picking" guy ! Don't ASK! lol
I believe he has a crystal VMK ball he checks around 9:30 and then appears with his pick of the night for closing......its all very secret and kind of scary...as we wait....and wait...for him to announce his closing choice!!
Boy we give him alot of power huh??

I got the impression that Out-of-his-mind just picks at the last minute. I generally do the same, if I'm on near closing; I look at my friend list and see where everyone is. Sometimes the room is full already and I can't get in.

I like the ones with the DIS river, small but crowded, I like when someone come floating down the river and come upon us at closing, I wonder what they think.... empty room...empty room...room full of crazies...empty room.
