Good morning to you all again

I hope that you all got great discounts yesterday for any one with AP's
Hopefully more Discounts will come along for everyone else
I was able to get POR but was not able to get a standard room at WL
hopefully one MIGHT come along i will keep checking but if not I am happy enough saved nearly $700 for myself and $500 for my brother

so a BIG THANK YOU to everyone on these boards

Isn't it so much better doing it this way than booking through Budget Travel or one of them standard agencies?? I can't believe what you can learn (and save!) thanks to boards like this!

Keep calling back and checking. When I called yesterday morning (more like after I could get ahold of someone ), I was told that Poly standard gardenview and all Contemporary except for standard was completely booked for Memorial Day weekend. I decided to call back last night to add the magical express bus service to my reservation and asked and found out that not only was there other Contemporary rooms available, but so was Poly standard view. I guess sometimes it pays to call again and talk to more than one CM.

Boy, I will say I am so thankful that the wait is over, and I was able to get a great Discount on my room at the Wilderness Lodge for May 12-21. I should say I was able to get 4 discounts for all 4 of the rooms that I booked for my family's Grand Gathering. I booked them last July, just to ensure I could get the WL because we all wanted to be in the same place. I will say that as the days got closer to yesterday and every body was getting a bit nervous in my family as were everyone else who wanted an AP Discount for their particular stay, I kept saying just be calm, you watch March 9 will be the day just like last year. My mom I think worried the most, she is really looking forward to this Grand Gathering Experience. WE have all our Gathering Experience booked and paid for, P.S. Dinings taken care of, all she was waiting for was the Discounts to come through, as without the Discounts our Grand Gathering would have to be scaled down a little. I was also blessed that when I booked my Grand Gathering Experiences, I had asked them if I call their own Grand Gathering Phone Number or regular Reservation Number, they said theirs. WEll I called first think yesterday when I got wind of the AP's being out, and I got through on the first call Thank The Lord. Bruce was the CM who helped me and was able to get all 4 of my rooms with an AP discounts with only having to upgrade two of the standard view rooms to woodsview rooms ( Not a problem) Now everyone is happy in my family, and especially my mom who has been saving each week puting money aside for the room and planning to pay for the rack rate, so with the DISCOUNT we NOW HAVE $1,000 AS EXTRA MONEY IN OUR DISNEY BUDGET.

is this your first trip
we have traveled like this a few times now
and with aer lingus doing a direct flight now its great we got the cheap ones with them when they came out
so far i would say i have saved more then half it would have cost me going with Budget travel

enjoy your trip
i find the UK board here very good aswell

we were there last July
coped with the heat fine just make sure and use a high sun cream
We found P20 great it is a bit dear but you only have to use it once a day

Thank you so much!! She's my real live doll! we are truly blessed, she's the happiest baby ever! My two boys were good babies too but this little darling takes the biscuit (or the rusk!).. she's so laid back and smiles all the time - I think it's because her big brothers are so nice to her and she adores them! She'll be 1 this coming Sunday! How time flies.

I hope your daughter gets to chance to visit us here some day! Thanks again!

Yes, this is our first trip to WDW though we always like to put holidays together ourselves no matter where we go, it's so satisfying.Glad to hear the heat was bearable. Thanks for the tip about P20. Once a day? That sounds wonderful!

Yes! We'll be at FQ from June 24th to 30th and then on to WL until July 6th so we'll be at Port Orleans same time as you! We plan on going to and from Riverside for the restaurant and bike hire so maybe we'll bump into each other! Also we'll be in your neck of the woods before our Disney trip too because we'll be in NEW YORK from June 21st to 24th and we just cannot wait! I have wanted to visit New York AND WDW for so long and finally this year we're doing BOTH. At first we thought going to NY and Florida would be too much but we just couldn't travel all the way to the U.S. and not see NY when I've wanted to go there for so long. We plan to do a few touristy things like Empire State Building and Staten Island ferry as well as FAO Schwartz which sounds like a child's dream!! Any tips would be much appreciated!

And why wouldn't you she is just so beautiful with those eyes!! I wrote a long post and it never showed so here I go again. I will help you with anything you need. I am in Manhattan frequently,my husband grew up there, works there, and both my kids go to school there sooooooo ask away or send me a private message. I can give you names of restaurants in Little italy depending on your budget and you can cab it there or others in midtown. Then theres always McD's! Where are you staying? Some of the hotels are in lovely sections and others are questionable. Make sure you wear lime green ribbons while at Port Orleans -mine are on my waistpack.I'm thinking of buying a Dis'er button also. My girl is 16 with long blonde hair, tall, and thin and my son 22 and about 5ft 8 ash blonde. My husband is Italian with a mustache so it should make it easier for you to spot us. I'm the "natural"?? blonDebIrelandde who looks like a park commando. LOL How old are your boys? I'll try to think of something they would enjoy. For example, Times Square 42ndST has a huge carousel with cars designed with different toys. Such as, Mr Potato Head, Barbie and others. It's fun and then theres always street vendors with those imitation everythings. Broadway has some shows perhaps Beauty and the Beast or is that too much of a Disney overload!!!LOL
