Good middle name for Austin?

When a first name and/or last name has multiple syllables, I like a one syllable middle name. Someone already mentioned Lee and Reid which are both cool, and fit good with Austin. Another one I like is Cole.

I like James, it sounds nice. I am not getting the need to pause but maybe it's a regional pronunciation thing.

I have a cousin Austin Dennis and his last name begins with an S.

Honestly, go with what you like and want, because people don't say the full name out loud enough (except for when he's born and you tell everyone!) to justify changing a middle name you really liked because of the need to pause.

Austin James Charrier sounds great to me -- it would be my first choice, but I also like Austin Christopher and Austin Gregory. Does he have Grandpas you could name him after? I love the idea of a family name.

I'm not big on a 2 syllable first with a 2 syllable middle, which rules out a lot of your choices.

I vote Gregory b/c his bro has dad's first name. Austin Jacob sounds good too and gives you an A.J.

Since your two older children have family names as middle names then I would do the same for this child. Austin Gregory is nice.

Another idea is Austin with your maiden name or using a grandfather's name as a middle name but that could leave someone out and cause problems.

My son's middle name is my DH's first name and my DD's first name is my DH's middle name. My Dh has a really nice name!

Austin Grant?

I like the way the G name sounds after the A name before the CH sound.

Don't know if it matters for better or worse but any middle name you give him starting with a "B" makes his initials

"ABC"

Austin Alec Charrier

Austin Eric Charrier

Austin Hunter Charrier

Austin David Charrier

Good Luck!!!:goodvibes

How about Austin Joseph....sounds very distinguished. You could then use the nickname AJ if you wanted, which I think is adorable!

ETA: My sons middle name is Kennedy. Many people think it is a maiden name or a family name, but I just liked it. His full name is Brady Kennedy.

Actually, I was going to suggest Joseph as well. My husband is an Austin Joseph.:thumbsup2 And he does get called AJ by his father.
