I promise to behave on the no running.
So, mini trip update. I've been faithfully stalking the Allegiant website waiting for them to release flights for our dates and yesterday they were there! But, when I checked the cost, it was a little more expensive than we've paid in the past. Boo.
So, Chris and I talked a lot last night about whether to go ahead and book or wait and see if prices went down. Of course, that also means prices could go up. So, we ultimately decided to just go ahead and book it. So, today I went on to book the trip and the price had dropped.
I was so happy.
So, we are all set with Allegiant to fly into Tampa on Thursday Jan. 8 (Allegiant only flies into Orlando/Sanford on Friday and we want to get there on Thursday) and then we fly out of Sanford on the following Friday.
I emailed our house place to see if they could add on the Thursday day and he said no problem, so we are all set. I'm most excited that we should have time to get to the Expo on Thursday instead of late on Friday like previous years, so I'm hoping there will still be more items available than in years past.
Total for the flights including taxes, fees and baggage costs (Allegiant nickels and dimes you on everything) was $250.69 per person. I think that's pretty good.![]()
Congrats on booking your flight!! That is still on my to do list for january. I don't know that we will be able to get fares for quite as good as you got! Awesome deal!! (well, awesome as far as what current fares are like. Where are those $200 or less fares we saw not long ago
) We did get our room booked though...so that is something. And...
for this putting you getting to the expo earlier. I don't even really buy anything and I like to go as early as possible. I just hate feeling like I might miss some great item or deal....

That hurt like a you-know-what!!! Clearly my hips and glutes are part of the overall problem. My rump is sore today though.
), but on Saturdays after our long runs we always pick up a box of Krispy Kremes to take home to the kids. Yes, we still "poison" our kids with sugary donuts on occasion. Chris always brings home three of the hats and the kids aren't allowed to eat the donuts unless they wear the hats. One of Chris' little torture devices for our children.

definitely tragic!

It really is improving. There are times now that it is completely unnoticeable to me, so I know it's better. But, my PT person really thinks I need to hold off a bit longer on running again, but I hope no more than one week more. So, enough of that depressing topic. On to....
But, I do like to run in something fun and Disney appropriate for these races. In the first marathon I ran in a pink Minnie Sparkle Tech skirt.

And, honestly, no good running gear is cheap, so considering what looks like the quality and style of these, they really aren't too outlandish.

She's got great reviews too so I would think it would be a good purchase.
that would be a sight to see. I'll see if I can convince him!

Sounds like things are headed in the right direction overall.
