Good deal on Disney tickets through Orbitz

Thanks for posting this. I just booked Art of Animation little mermaid room with the spring20 code. Couldn't believe it worked! Saved $80 on our three night trip for April! And $52 on our tickets! Too bad I missed the 10%, but still not too shabby

You get a check in the mail once a quarter, the money can be deposited in your paypal account or you can donate it to a charity. They send you actual money to use how you'd like.

I am so bummed I missed the 10%. I even looked at it yesterday. I just wanted to wait until my tax return came. Oh well. At least there is still 5%. I wonder how often they double it for Orbitz or how long Orbitz will have the 5 days for price of 3.

If u need more than 5 day tix, check out priceline as well. I found they actually discounted all the tix...not just the 5 day tix that Orbitz discounted. I would do the math to compare though. U can get 5% rebate through topcashback.com (also a very reputable site). Ebates only offers 2.5% for priceline activities.

Can't the Orbitz 5 day tickets be upgraded to add more days once you have used at least one day of the ticket? I was going to purchase them, but I didn't realize the 10% cash back was a promotion that was time limited.

I am also a little concerned that there are no refunds through Orbitz. If I buy tickets from UT, and I have to reschedule my trip, the UT tickets never expire. But it looks like if you don't pick up the Orbitz tickets during the days you specify when you buy them, you lose out on the tickets.

This is precisely why I didn't go for the Orbitz/ebates deal. If my trip is just around the corner I may have felt differently; when when it is still months away I was not comfortable with prepaying for no refundable ticket vouchers.

yes, but u have to go through the annoyance of price bridging and upgrading. Plus for me and my particular tickets (10day nonexpiring), priceline was cheaper than upgrading. Keep in mind priceline tickets work exactly the same as Orbitz (no bidding needed).

Purchase this deal on Saturday afternoon. Still is not posted to me ebates account. I have sent an email inquiring and got a response saying I need to wait 7 days until I can find out what happened. Anyone have any advice? I wouldn't have done this deal and have the hassle of the voucher if ebates is going to give me a hard time getting my cash!

I have never had a hard time getting the cash back from ebates. I'd give them the 7 days and see what happens.

I'd reply and tell them that you know of several people who did the exact same transaction and ALL of them are seeing the cashback pending within a few days. I did this on Monday night, and got my e-mail yesterday saying the cashback is pending.

I told her I knew of a few people who bought the same deal after me and already have their cash pending in their account. She said she'd be in touch with Orbitz and get back to me. The above email is what I received. As I was doing the google search for the phone # I found many a post regarding people never getting their money. I'm not thrilled.

I jumped on this deal...the day you posted it... I am here at Disney World now and have used the voucher.

I brought my voucher to the will call window and picked up the 2 tickets...I needed my ID and both my husband and I were instructed to sign the back of the ticket. The Cast member told me they expired 14 days from today.

I also received an email confirmation about the ebates cash pending.

Oh....One more thing...It's freezing here today!
Looking for some weather soon.

Did you get the ebates credit before or after you redeemed the voucher? I'm sill fighting with them and they're insisting it can take up to 40 days after the travel date to get the rebate. Thanks!

Did they give you the regular MYW tickets for your vouchers or are they something different? What if you pick them up a few day b/f you plan to use them, would they still expire 14 days from the day you picked them up? I had assumed that the tickets would have the same rules as the MYW tickets and be 14 days from first use so this make me nervous.

My family can still get a better deal using the YES program - saved us $140 on 5 day tickets.
