I finally found my recipe! Obviously, it wasn't with the rest. Anyway, this is the one my grandmother used to make.

Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding
1 3/4 c water
1/2 c rice (not instant)
1/2 tsp salt
2 c milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c raisins (steamed & drained)
nutmeg
Boil water, then add the salt & rice. Simmer for 30 min, then add the milk & cook for 5 min until thick. Combine eggs, sugar & vanilla, then stir in the rice. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole. Sprinkle nutmeg over the top. Bake at 350, putting the casserole into a larger pan of water - like for a custard. [NOTE: Unfortunately, Gram didn't list the time.]

Rice Pudding
4 c milk
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c rice (use 6 - 8 Tbl for thicker pudding)
1 Tbl butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
Combine all ingredients & pour into a greased, oven-proof bowl. Bake at 325 for 2 1/2 hours.
