We're booking and making all our ADR's soon and I need opinions on our chosen restaurants.

We Chose:

Planet Hollywood
ESPN Club
Crystal Palace
Tusker House
Coral Reef Restaurant
SciFi Dine In
Chef Mickeys

any advice on any of them would be great. We've only eaten at SciFi and P.Hollywood before. both with positive experiences:)

are the character meals breakfast or lunch or dinner ?

crystal palace in my opinion is only good for breakfast , chef mickeys also
tusker is a great breakfast , heard good things about lunch also , i would choose prime time over sci fi
I have never tried the other places , good luck , have an awesome trip!

we've been to prime time twice and had a really bad experience both times. none of our reservations will be character meals though.

We had appetizers at ESPN club and they were very good. I love Crystal Palace, have had it for breakfast and lunch and both were good. This is a must do for us. Tusker House is great, my husbands favorite restaurant. We have had breakfast and lunch there and both were good. We also love the Sci-fi, my 8 year old loves this. I haven't been to the others, but I think you made some great choices. Have a great time.

We've always liked Coral Reef. When you check in, ask about getting a table next to the tanks. It may not be possible, and it may require a longer wait, but it never hurts to ask!

Most Definately! we were going to try and reserve tank tables!

i really wanted to eat at The Wave in the contemporary but we're gonna have another family with us and it didnt seem totally family oriented.

Just ate at ESPN Club, Tusker House and Sci Fi last week! When do you plan on going to ESPN Club? We went on Sunday for football and got there around 12pm for the 1pm games and it was already pretty packed. We wanted a table in the bar area so we could stay for the whole game, not sure how packed the dining room was. So I'd suggest getting there at 11:30 if you want to get a table and watch football. If you have no interest in football, avoid it on Sundays and Mondays. The food was really good.

We did the character breakfast at Tusker House and were seated right away. We thought there was a lot of food selections and the food was good. The way they do the condiments is weird - all of them were in a bowl, and you have to use what you need. No packets. My BF accidentally put cream cheese on his waffle thinking it was butter

Sci Fi was great, seated right away, food came out quick. Loved it!

I've been to that Planet Hollywood in the past and I'm not a big fan of it, or any other like restaurances such as Hard Rock, Rainforest Cafe, etc. I'd pick another DTD restaurant since you've already done PH. If you have picky kids, RC or T-Rex are similar in food to PH with different atmospheres.

Planet Hollywood- we've ate there once and had a really good meal
ESPN- never been
Crystal Palace- have been for both breakfast and dinner, enjoyed breakfast more
Tusker House- had breakfast here, was good
Coral Reef- really not very good food/service, but the atmosphere is nice
Sci Fi- good choice
Chef Mickeys- we go here for the characters and never expect the meal is going to be very good lol

They won't let you reserve them, but you can put in a request when you check in. We've gotten a tank side table 1 out of 3 times we've been.

haha. im one of the kids. we're going to be on DDP (not to mention me and my mom are TOTAL movie buffs) so planet hollywood was her pick. :P

but has anyone eaten at trex?? is it better than RC?

Ahh if you're movie buffs then PH is a good choice! I have eaten at T-Rex and liked it better than RC, but I had a really bad meal at RC. It was burned to a crisp. I think T-Rex is owned by RC (or the same company) so they are similar but I don't think T-Rex is a chain like RC is (we have one here in Niagara Falls) so I think its more likely to have more unique dishes or be able to be more accommodating to food requests.
