Planned a trip to DL thinking April would be a good time to go weather wise. Average of like 74. Been checking the forecast and it's supposed to be in the 90's and 96 on Thursday! Noooooo. I have had melanoma and need to wear long pants and sleeves. It is not gonna be fun ugh.

Maybe you could go earlier in the morning and take a break, then go back in the evening when the sun is not as strong? There are alot of nice places to escape the mid-day sun, too. Tiki Room, Golden Horseshoe, indoor rides like Indy or haunted mansion. I'm sure there are alot more.

Yeah we will for sure plan to do as many things as we can indoors during the mid day. We will just need to take it easy and do what we can.

When my family of four went last July, I brought two solar umbrellas with us. My DH and both teen daughters rolled their eyes at me (politely, but there was definitely eye-rollage). But when we were standing in line for Webslingers or Grizzly or waiting to watch any show in Avengers Campus, I got nothing but heaps of “thank yous.” I refrained from a single “told you so.” It was difficult, but I managed.

I have reservations for Carnation Cafe that day and now I'm wondering if I should keep them or if it will be too hot and sunny to sit outside. I'm also wondering how the weather will effect attendance. Do you think it will?

Social distancing made it easier but now people are standing closer together again.
