"GOLF" resort

I remember getting ready to go to WDW for the first time around 1980. We were supposed to stay at the "Golf resort". Luck have it, we ended up at the contemporary. Anyway, I was talking about this with someone, so I would like to ask.

My question is what resort or attraction is where the "GOLF resort" used to be?

It is now "Shades of Green", for military families. The former Golf Resort/Disney Inn was a great resort. I loved it.
