golf carts at the campground....

We will be spending 7 days this fall at Ft. Wilderness and made a reservation today for the golf cart. What is the normal procedure with the carts. I have seen the golf/bike barn on the map. Do we go there or is there another place where the reserved carts are picked up. Another question....when we ride the cart up to the marina or at one of the bus transfer spots, we leave the cart there in a certain spot. Is that the way things are done. We will find it there when we return. See what a rookie we are. Lived in Florida most of my life and this is my first visit to Disney.

Yes you pick up your cart at the Bike Barn. When cruising about you will see marked parking areas for your cart(they usually have other carts so it won't be hard to figure out), take your key and remember your cart number or use someother method for remembering which one is yours. It will be where you left it, but after a long day all those things look the same.

Parking areas also have some outlets for charging. Busy times you may not be able to get a charging site, but if you get there early you can. That way you will have a fully charged cart waiting for you at the end of the day.

The easiest thing to do is charge it at night on your site, then you will have enough power for the day.

Thanks for the help with the golf cart. Since making our original reservation a couple of weeks ago we have decided to arrive a bit early and stay an extra day. Can't wait. Also added the golf cart for the additional days.
