Going to SSR soon -- Room Request Advice Needed!

Hi!

We are going to SSR for the first time from 5/15-5/20. Going with DH, DS age 2 and DS age 6 months. I am looking for advice on which rooms to request -- we will be in a 2 bedroom unit with friends. Which location is best with little kids? We'd like to be close to the main pool (is there a kiddie pool area as well?) and close to the bus stop. Any advice would be appreciated -- it's our first time so we're not familiar with SSR at all!

The Springs is the closest to the main pool. I know the main pool has a zero entry area and a small slide. Also, The Grandstand area has a quiet pool with some horse shaped water squirters and it's own mug re-filling station. If you request the Grandstand, ask to be near the pool. Hope that helps!

The Grandstand will give you a quiet pool with a kids area, the first pickup for buses and a short walk to the main building. I'd choose it over the Springs. We'll be there the 14th through the 21st!

While I agree with the other posts, don't forget about about Congress Park. It has a pool, playground, great veiw of DTD and a very short walk to DTD which is nice with small children as the night gets late.

Grandstand all the way! First bus stop, great when you have kids and strollers; quiet pool with great kid play area and pool side bar; not far from welcome center and main pool; even a BBQ pavillion. I LOVE staying in the Grandstands!

In that case... stay in Congress Park or the Springs... yeah that's it...
