Hi everyone,
My daughter and I are headed to GCH in a bit. We only live about an hour away but thought it would be fun to sleep there for one night. We start in DLR tomorrow. Is there anything special we should know about entering the park form GCH?

We are planning an easy going day. So we don’t have to be the first to anything.

Also, which app and where on the app do we see wait times for specific rides tomorrow?

thank you

Also, quick Id question. I don’t have a California driver’s license. I have plenty of proof I live in LA. Will this be a problem?

Some have posted online chat conversations that said that a CA driver's license or CA ID was the accepted proof of residency. Since your trip is tomorrow, all you can do at this point is try. Best of luck!

Most reports say they arent checking IDs except for possibly some special tickets/ passes. But for normal tickets it seems the CMs are not checking ID so you should be fine.

They’re letting 35k people in. Not following 25% capacity. Ride lengths are insane. It’s not as fun as pre covid cause of the waits causing lines to wraparound and it’s basically back to normal. No one is checking residency.

Download the Disneyland app. That will show you the wait times, although there have been reports that wait times in the app are not very accurate.

What a pp said is not accurate, they are not letting people in above the 25% capacity limit. Wait times for rides are longer because they are limited on how many people/parties they can into ride vehicles. And some areas of the parks seem more crowded because queues that are normally contained to the ride areas spill out into walkways. In addition, a lot of restaurants and stores are closed, and all parades and shows are not happening right, making the places people can go very limited and the ride queues longer than they would be if more attractions were open. But even with all of that, the ride queues are really not that long and you can get a lot in in one day. Have fun!

Ride lines often look longer than they really are. We joined the Pirates line back at HM, yet is was only about a 20 min wait. We got in line for Snow White after it had wound around out to Main St. But only took about 20-22 mins. They are keeping capacity at about 20%, but I expect to see it go up by Memorial Day. (OC is expected to go to Yellow by Tuesday.).

Now, is capacity going up? Technically yes. By opening more areas, that increases the capacity of the park. Example, opening Avenger's Campus will increase capacity of DCA by about 5000, and if they can use 35% of that, it would be 1750. Now, they will leave a cushion, so maybe 1500 people. Also opening The Wine COuntry trattoria Alfresco Terrace will add capacity. As will opening Blue Bayou. Each area opens a specific number, which will add to capacity. Disney is doing all they can to get closed areas open.
