Going from Universal to WDW?

We paln on hiring a town car to take us from the airport to Universal and then back from WDW to the airport. So the question is, how do we get from Universal to WDW? Another town car? Whichever taxi is in front of the hotel?

I like the taxi idea as we can then leave whenever we want to as opposed to a prearranged time with the towncar, but I am concerned the taxi will be pricier.

Your thoughts? If it matters, we are 2 adults and 2 kids, 4 suitcases total.

A couple of years ago we took a taxi from WDW to Seaworld (right near Universal) and as I recall it was about $40 each way.

Taxi to Sea World is about $22.00 depending on the Disney hotel you leave from. The OP must be talking about taxi to Universal, the taxi rate to Universal from WDW two years ago was about $27.00. She either got a raxi that flat rated her or not a Mears Transportation taxi.

Mears taxis are on a stand at all Universal hotels. Ask your bellman for a Mears cab and you will get the best deal.

We had a van as there were 8 of us. I'm not sure if it was a Mears van or not. We were at All Star Music and had the front desk arrange transportation for us.
