Going Back Home to OKW

My parents are DVC members and for my last two Disney trips they have been kind enough to give me the points to go with friends, but the only DVC resort open at the time I booked was SSR. Granted I have really enjoyed SSR, but there is something about OKW. Well this October I am going to be able to join them at OKW. (i'm a teacher and will be flying down during my fall break) I'm so excited to be going back home to OKW that I just had to tell somebody.

Welcome Home. I see you are also from Blaine, Mn. We have been DVC since 93 are our home is OKW. You are right their is something about OKW vs. SSR or the other resorts. Food and Wine festival is great but need to take in MNSSHP, lot of fun with great parade and fireworks. Going home in 18 days for a 2 week stay.

I understand. We recently joined DVC because of our stay at Old Key West last year. Even though our home resort is AKV I am planning an add-on at OKW later this year!

Yesterday I booked our first stay at OKW for early June. I could waitlist the last night or get all my days at SSR. I chose to book OKW and waitlist the last night and move to SSR closer if I could not get OKW. Today, my last night is showing booked on my reservation page!
I am so thankful and so excited to try OKW!
