We have had a Disney cruise booked forever. We decided yesterday that we just could not pass up some time in the parks, so I called yesterday morning and got a studio in OKW for the two nights after the cruise! Now I'm so hyper I can't hardly sit still! I can't wait to have my first taste of DVC,

Welcome home! First you are going to love DVC and all the DVC resorts.
Now for the bad news. And it's bad! Two nights is going to be torture. Your biggest regret will be not making it longer. But the good news is you will still have 39 years to go back. Enjoy!

And the Disney cruise. The best! Absolutely the best!

Just returned Monday from the 7 night Magic Western swing and then 2 days at the parks....loved the cruise....loved the parks but we were so relaxed from the cruise it was almost torture to run around the parks.....next time.....parks first....then the relaxation of the ship....

cool Tom - Congratulations on buying into DVC

We bought DVC Nov 01. Because we have booked and rebooked our cruise it will now be Oct 04 by the time we make it "home".
As my tag says "Im taking the long way home but first Im stopping for my cheeseburger in paradise". I think Ive earned this tag.

Going home for the first time in September....staying 3 nights in the BCV before a quick 3 night cruise on the Wonder....they say, at least some of the people I have talked to that using points for cruising is a waste of points...don't know yet....but going on the 7 day next May 8th.....is it April yet? Have fun.....you do deserve the cheeseburger....and the shrimp, lobster...etc.....
Tom
