I think the second book is even better than the first.

Marc has gone to see Twilight & New Moon with me but I really have no desire to see Eclipse again right now. I really need to get to see Toy Story 3 soon!

It's still miserably hot there? Ick! It's always like this here in the summer, but we have the air conditioning to combat it. I guess it's like when we get snow and can't deal with it. Yes, you should stay as cool as possible. Lay on the couch, read a book, and eat popsicles.

It's supposed to be cooler today but you could have fooled me. That's the thing, we only own 1 AC and that's in the bedroom. Plus our electrical bill is going to be OUT of control with how much we have been running it. I'm over the heat.

Our heating bill was ridiculous this winter, too. I hate having to spend money on utilities. It really cuts into the fun money!

Good Morning Gals!!!!! Nothing fun going on right now. Tom had to go in to work for a bit today....YUCK!!! Megs and I are still in PJs trying to figure out what we are going to do until he gets home, and then what to do after that.

The heat has been so bad lately that I am SOOOOOOO over summer!!!!! You just feel gross when you go outside!!! YUCK!!!

I'm glad to hear Insatiable was good! I love Meg Cabot and was hoping to hear a good review! I was hoping she wasn't just hopping on the vampire train...Although I did see Eclipse again last night at the drive-in....I can't believe all of you are turning to team Jacob....naughty gnomies! The rennesme thing with him was just too much for me...I know they explained it, and I get it, but it's weird...too much I think for me!

But I do have to get motivated to get out of them...there is a local festival here going on called Sunfest. It's basically food and artisans and performers from all different cultures and they set up in one of our downtown areas! It's fun! DBFF and I go and get a henna tattoo every year to remind us of being at Morocco in Epcot! It finally rained yesterday so it's cooled off some, thank goodness! Now it's bearable to be outside again!

I like all the Twilight discussion. Like a few of you said, I loved the books but have been disappointed in the movies since they don't match "my" vision of what the characters should be. Robert P is definitely not my Edward although in terms of the books I am Team E. And I am not a big Kristin Stewart fan either. And the whole Jacob imprinting on their kid thing... have to go with creepy on that but can agree that it is nice he'll always be connected.

So I'm thinking about getting a tattoo... what do you think? Does anyone have one? I'm thinking small, in an unobtrusive place. And probably just a word. BUT, I have serious issues with pain and commitment so I'm not sure.

I've toyed with the idea for my 40th bday. Everyone (including my mom) has one in my family...but me. I was thinking maybe a cute little mickey on my ankle would be a good idea

I was thinking my foot or ankle too. I don't want ANYTHING drawing any attention to my stomach! Funny, I'm thinking about mine as a b-day present to myself too. I'm still chicken though...

I have one on my ankle of a morning glory. When I was about 21, Charles and I went down to Destin, FL, and it rained the entire time. For some reason, going to get tattoos seemed like a good idea. LOL!

I found a site online that will make temporary tattoos in any design for only a few $'s each (at least for the size I'm thinking about). So I ordered a couple and will be able to try it out and make sure I like it.

I'm interested to know what you'd get too, LL!

Good morning, Gnomies! One week for me until vacation! I had the hardest time sleeping last night for some reason! It was like my body thought last night was Disney Eve.

I forgot to say that, didn't I? A goldfinch. They remind me of my grandmother. It would be very teeny tiny but that is what I would get. This is not Ursula of course. I saw a goldfinch at her funeral, and it always seems when I'm having a tough time or thinking of her I see them. So I just connect them with her.

So I went to the library yesterday and picked up more Lisa Scottoline books. I finished one yesterday and I'm already on the second. Her books are so good!
