Is it Friday yet?

Morning, LL! It's a muggy, rainy Wednesday here which started with me tripping over the cat trying to get to my alarm (I have to set it across the room or otherwise I turn it off and oversleep). Not to mention that I dreamed last night I was shoplifting clothes at the mall -- I wonder what that was about???

On a brighter note, I am about 100 pages into The White Queen, and I really like it. It's about the Lancasters and Yorks' battles for the English throne, and like The Other Boleyn Girl, it has sucked me right in.

It's rainy and gloomy here today. Nothing like slogging through wet leaves.

I'm reading the 19th Wife, which I am loving! I am just fascinated by it. It's a great premise.

Sorry LL that you are having gloomy weather. That's what we have had the last week or so. Today is supposed to be the highlight of the week, sunny and 60. It's going to go downhill tonight with a slight chance of snow saturday nigh I hate winter more and more every year! How many years until I can retire to Florida? (OK, I don't have a job...make that until Greg can retire )

Jen, I suspect my subbing for Greg the next couple days will be like Phillip subbing for you. The kids will know that anything that happens will be reported! I am a little nervous though about meeting Greg's expectations! It sure is nice that he is required to attend these meetings AND we both get paid! We even joked that if one of the boys gets sick, he could take a paid family leave day and ask for me to be his sub (that may be pushing things a bit although he does have the right to take those days)

I heard on the radio this morning that this weekend is the world food festival in Des Moines. If it weren't going to be so cold, I would go and pretend it was Epcot!

I'm excited to see the TR's starting! Keep it up girls

Good Morning Gnomies.

This week has kicked my butt. I am so tired. Marc is going away to a camp in Vermont for the weekend with his friends so I've got NOTHING planned except my orientation at the Disney Store on Sunday. But that is only three hours so not too bad. I am so looking forward to relaxing and just being by myself.

I might go to the movies and I might go get a pedicure. Anything else will be on a complete whim.

Me too! This week has been NEVERENDING.

I reserved two movies from Redbox that I plan on picking up on the way home. I may not even leave my house tomorrow.

That's my goal for tomorrow -- I want to grocery shop tonight and then tomorrow we can vegetate at the house since it is supposed to rain all day -- bake cookies, play games, read, update my TR -- fun stuff like that.

I rented....My Life in Ruins which has the woman from My Big Fat Greek Wedding in it. And then Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Jennifer Garner and Matthew however you spell his Mc- last name. I'm not a huge fan of his but I ADORE Jennifer Garner. I want to be her BFF.

I have found so much cute stuff and I did buy some stuff but it is all on my computer so no more lugging of all that heavy stuff around!! I just hope I have enough room on my computer for it all LOL!!! I need to get rid of some stuff I don't need anymore!!!

Good morning, Gnomies!!! Somehow I woke up at 6:00 this morning -- so much for sleeping in this morning. At least I can get to the grocery store early today before the crowds come (I didn't manage to make it there yesterday).
