I keep telling myself...5 year plan....5 year plan. In less than 5 years we will move to Maine, hopefully own DVC and have a child. 5 year plan. 5 year plan. It's not really helping today though.

Is it wrong that I'm actually looking forward to the 4 weeks I have to be out for my surgery?

C...at this point the dealership better be forking over some gas gift cards or free dinners somewhere because this is completely unacceptable to be treating you like that...I would definitely be asking for some perks LOL!!

LL...sorry you had such a rotten day!! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!! I love your 5 year plan...it seems a lot like our future plans...except we are moving to TX not to Maine LOL...but same wavelength on the buy DVC and have a kid part LOL!!!

Where do I know I'll be in 5 years??
Well...Kyle will be in college (or in the military... which is the direction he was leaning last I heard)....

Ellie will be a junior in HS.... ohhhh and 15 maybe I should offer a 16th bday trip too, like the 13th birthday one.... hmmmm I like that idea!

Allison will be 13 and hopefully training for level 9 or 10 and a chance at the US nationals by then.... wouldn't THAT be cool





Maybe I should put a plan in place.... boy my life will naturally be alot different 5 years from now than it currently is...just based on the kids!


Anyhoo.... Harry Potter was very good! I definately recommend it! It was pretty true to the book, and the teen hormonal antics were a riot! Even though I knew how it would end...I still cried, it was well done.


I think we are going to go out for dinner..yum! I'm thinking steak!

Let's focus on happier things. 5 year plan. I need to accelerate mine. My biological clock doesn't have five years on it. So I need one year or less to prince charming; 18-24 months to baby and DVC can come along at any point in that timeline. Who's got a plan to make that happen for me?? Oh yeah, and if we could work immense wealth and my early retirement into the plan, all the better.

Seriously...you need to get a piece of paper from your bank that says they transferred the money and take it down to that dealership and get your car...along with a free dinner and a couple tanks of gas, this is just plain ridiculous...sounds like they are trying to give you a hard time!

That's what all of us have been saying -- it is truly pointless -- I am consoling myself with the thought that I am going to work on my trip binder for the October trip after the faculty meeting.

C, that SO sucks that the dealer is treating you this way. I would go to the bank and ask them for some paperwork indicating when they processed the transition. then go to the dealer and tell them you expect some sort of compensation (at the very least they should give you a few free oil changes or something!) for them dropping the ball and making you wait. Would you like to borrow my boys for your vacation? They make help slow down your biological clock

I have two binders to work on -- the October one and the Key West one -- but the October one is taking priority!

Hey Gnomies

I've had a bit of a crummy day. I went to my new job to pick up my new hire package and the offer inside was for part time. I spoke with my future manager and I guess she has decided that she can't offer any positions for sure until she works with us for awhile. This is total crap! My replacement at Fruits&Passion has already been hired too, so I have no choice but to take it for now. My F&P manager has agreed to keep me on for one shift a week so I can keep my discount. I don't know what to do now but pray that it works out in my favour... I was so upset I went straight to my mum's house and she made me a nice big breakfast and let me cry it out. Then we watched game shows all afternoon. God Bless my mother!

LL - I'm sorry to hear you had a crummy day too. I hope tomorrow is better for you (well, I guess today since it's after midnight!). That baby blankie is gorgeous! I absolutely love it! You should go into business!

C - What a crummy dealership! They better figure out their mess! And I know how you're feeling with the bio-clock....mine doesn't tick lately, it pounds! You just have to have faith that the right thing will come along for you. I've just stopped looking for now. I'm sick of it, someone can look for me for awhile!

Katie - I'm jealous of your cinnamon bun....I could really go for one right now! Infact I would probably lick the cream cheese icing right off the plate!

So it looks like I'm back to square one on the car thing and will have to walk away from this purchase. But I guess on the bright side I at least know exactly what I want and what I'm willing to pay so I'll just call up another dealership and say here's what it is, if you can get that car for me, I'll be down with the $.
