Since I have been without internet and I don't have enough patience for typing long messages on my phone, I haven't mentioned what's going on with my Mom. She had an angiogram last week and the spot they stented last Feb was already 75% blocked. They have stented this same spot 5 or 6 times in the last 7 or 8 years and decided it was time to do a bypass to hopefully stop this cycle

given her overall good health, everything will likely be fine but of course this is considered major surgery so there is always risk involved. We would appreciate some prayers today as she goes through this!

would one of you be willing to copy and paste this info on my TR? more thoughts are better right?

Katie - I'll be praying for your mom today. I'm glad they've finally decided to do more for her! I hope this will help her for more than a few months. I'm sure she'll do just fine. As for the tooth...well, teeth...I'm just waiting on 2 root canals, 2 new crowns and having all of my wisdom teeth taken out....it's awful and painful and I'm running out of painkillers!

Well ladies, I got some good news today amongst all the yucky dentist-y news I've been getting lately! About a week ago, just to see what might happen, I applied with a travel agency here in London...I have an interview with them tomorrow morning at 10am!! I am so excited! Forget working in hotels, this is what I wanted to do when I got my diploma! Plus, on the application I wrote about my extensive Disney World travel and they mentioned they might use me exclusively as a Disney-agent!!! I'm not gonna get my hopes up, but I'm psyched for the interview!

Thanks for the good wishes and prayers girls....I don't know how it went....I thought my answers were good but the interviewer was so cold...and she was from outside the company so she didn't really know how to relate to what I was saying. It was all very straight and rigid and she didn't want any real life stories of experience, just answers about working with sales targets. Then she explained the hours and salary details and then told me the company would contact me if they wanted to move on with the interview process. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Okay Gnomies........would I be considered clinically insane if I were to say that I was considering trying to jet away to WDW on 12/26 for the week after Christmas? YAY Stace! Keep us updated on the job, how cool would that be...a Disney agent!!

I've been training another new girl at work. I never got a call back (neither did Blake) about that job interview we had. BUT, my boss is giving me a $3.00 an hour extra raise and letting me use the work truck if we end up moving to the other side of the water in December. It ends up being about a $6,000 a year raise!

I don't get off Monday, as usual, but I'm just here catching up on some organizing and reading this weekend, hope you all have a great one!

Jess that is awesome!! Woo Hoo!!! I had to train a new girl in jewellery today....what a nightmare!! She was very nice but didn't know what colour emeralds or sapphires were. And she couldn't tell the difference between a cubic zirconia and a diamond....yeesh! I hope that all works out for you!

Jen - I agree with LL, as long as you know you're going when it's busy....You'll either have to be fine with just walking around and shopping and soaking up the atmosphere, or being a super-commando touring woman to get everything you want to done!
