I was a little bothered that he didn't start at 9am on the local AM station so I missed an hour and that he wasn't on that many AM stations in my travels.

But he's on XM!!

He's the only consertative talk show host that doens't make me want to 1) throw something or 2) beat my head against the wall.

But he warns you to get your duct tape ready when necessary...

I hate to go out on a limb here, but I really don't care for for his show. Is this the best CNN can come up with during primetime? I don't get it.

He's on CNN Headline News, not CNN, actually. I like him. But he's no Aaron Brown.

I catch him every now and then. It's been a strange few years for me - I tend to be more moderate, but the issues people have been dwelling on since Bush entered our lives are almost all the ones that I lean far more to the left. This is the only right-leaning host that I feel like I can respectfully disagree with. Certain topics I'm right there with him, but more often than not he delivers a message in such a way where I can say, "Ok, I see where he's coming from. It doesn't really change my mind, but I do have a new understanding for why people think that way." He's so much more effective than those that rely on the "you don't agree with me so you're an idiot" approach.

Glenn Beck has definitely grown on me. I like listening to his show more than other national talk shows. In a way he reminds me of Lewis Grizzard; depending on the topic, he can either make you laugh, cry, angry, or think about things, and even when you disagree with him you still like him.

I LOVE Glenn Beck, I DVR is show as well. Sometimes he is a TAD too gloom and doom for me (all the talk about the Perfect Storm) but I still love him and his show.

Would this be the Glenn Beck who used to have a radio show in CT? I remember years ago listening to him on KC101, I think, and remember when he was leaving, but didn't know where he was going to. I just remember he actually was torn because he has a special needs child who lived in our town at the time, and was sad about leaving her. I remember him saying there would be a lot of flying back and forth. Also, he used to talk a lot about the woman in his life...Victoria, I think she was named. I believe they had just been married or were planning to marry. Is this the same gentleman?

It sounds like the same person. Glenn just mentioned the other night that he has a daughter with cerebal palsy and he does talk about his daughters and wife alot. He also has an adopted son.
