What would be a good photoshopped program or other type of software to help edit photos and maybe combinded photos and all that ? I am very new to all this ?

For one thing I would like to try to change this photo. I want to edit out the goofy head and maybe edit out the 2 humans to the left. I would still want it to look like I was there. Can anyone help ? Thanks

I would clone that stuff out then apply a slight blur to the background in Adobe Photoshop.

This one I took of my DS and cloned the junk off the counter.

Where would you get the Adobe Photoshop?? Stupid question probably but I also have some pictures from our last trip that I would like fix!!

Any other programs out there besides the one you mentioned?

My problem mainly seems to be my pictures came out dark-would that program fix it??

Since Adobe Photoshop can be REALLY expensive (like $500 +) I think you would be better off looking for something cheaper since I doubt you would ever use that program to its full capabilities. Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 is cheaper & will do what you requested. Available in the $50 - $100 range. Keep in mind that you will have a learning curve & might not be able to do everything you requested. Sometimes, it will just depend on the photo. It might be too difficult to get seemless results on some photos.

BTW, you may get more helpful replies if you change the title of your thread to something closer to what your actual question is.

When I say Photoshop.... Elements or CS2 will do the job. Whatever is in your budget.


You can get the free 30 day trial from Adobe's site.

Oh, and I actually see 4 non-subject related humans in the image. The 2 kids, there is a lady behind them and someone on the right in the back as well.

Without using expensive programs that you might not want to purchase, I cropped out a bit by using the editing software that came with my printer. It didn't fuzz anything out or do anything fancy, but it cropped out the people to the left and most of Goofy too. Just your basic cropping.
