Give me your best tips for finding a great WOC spot!!

Ok, if we get a blue FP and try for the fire hydrant area will a pretty tal(43 inches) 4 year old be able to see ok? She slept through WOC two years ago and really wants to see it! We will try to line up betweemn seven and seven thirty!

The fire hydrant sounds like a good plan if you get a blue FP, but what if you get yellow?! Is there any sweet spot for a yellow FP? We've been down close for both viewings (after lining up early) and have really enjoyed it, but now i'd like to try a bit further back and see what that's like.

With our four kids we like to get right at the front so you can feel the heat of the fire. You need to get there early. We had priority seating and had to ask a number of cm's where to stand and wait. We got a few different answers but eventually got to the line area and were one of the first families in. It is a long wait so maybe bring something for the kiddies to do while they wait. We bring our ds's for the WOC wait.

I would also like to know where to stand if we get a yellow FP. I think we will try the fire hydrant spot if we get blue. Anyone else doing WOC next Thursday?

Here is the map from the guide.

1. You want to be at the front rail at any section near the centerline.
2. The upper section of Blue near the center is one of my favorites.
3. Avoid not being at the front of any flat section, the 2nd level of Blue towards the center, and the lower level of blue.
4. The Preferred dining lower section at the front is great - You have nothing in the way and it is overwelming.
5. The Bridge is good, but not near the center.
6. Red (now Yellow) at the front row centerline is also good.

Get there early (10-15 minutes before the first time listed on the fastpass), geta front rail spot, and guard it with your life.
