Sorry you had picture issues, but your first day and a half sound nice! I'm jealous you got to go to BOG for dinner, I still can't get a spot for my maybe-trip in 2 months. We can do lunch there if I don't get it, but I'd love to try dinner!

Mary, no worries...I know you've been out of town with the girls and camps and everything.

Picture issues are so frustrating! You did have a lot going on though, my goodness. The main thing is you made it there and had a lovely dinner, day and ended it at SAB with yummy drinks. It all sounds wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a lovely arrival and first day. And I was so happy we landed without weather issues.

Kathy, I am happy to be here! I don't get on the dis as much as I used to but now that we have a trip planned I am back. Facebook is my new addiction lol!

Less than 5 months!!! The reality of it is finally beginning to feel like it is going to happen... It's been 3 long years since we have been back home. Trip is paid in full, ADR's are all set, received my MVMCP tickets in the mail for December 3rd, and I even got a little pixie dust my way and was able to book my Candlight Processional dinner before they were available due to WDW snaffu this past week on their website (Thanks DIS for the heads up on that one). Oh and my airfare is also booked.

I got my Candlelight booked yesterday when it opened up.

And of course, Carolyn and I will finally get to meet you and Mark.

Mark and I are anxious to meet you and Carolyn too.

Oh, how frustrating to have lost some of your photos...but...it was a VERY exciting time just days before the wedding.

I found them.

So glad the flight was on time and the little girls were able to sit together..

It was a rather uneventful flight considering the weather all the way there.

Even with the wait for the bus to DTD, then the MK crowds and luggage resort mix-up, it still sounds like it is going to be a delightful trip!

It was a great trip...but never again in June.

(I just love your TR's, Kathy...and this one is already inspiring me to try even harder to find a miracle to finagle the December Grannie trip - which started out as a 65th birthday celebration trip for Rosie and me. )

Beach Club Villas you say…
I really enjoyed staying at the BC when we had the chance a while back. Very nice resort, walking distance to Epcot, and of course… Stormalong Bay… Lord I’d love to stay there again.

I wasn't a big fan of the BC Villas; it was okay, but definitely not near the top of my favorite resorts.

Nice start! A couple of great meals and a couple of great resorts.

It was a great start.

I bet the girls loved the Little Mermaid ride and loved eating in Beast's castle even more.

They did; I rode this one alone so was able to get some pictures.

I was surprised we landed on time, but happy we did. It was a fun first day.

I know the frustration of lost pictures. I lost ALL of my vacation pictures several years ago and cried for two days. Thank goodness, our local camara shop had the right program to recover several hundred of them.

I remember that when it happened to you, Lisa. The problem was I had downloaded them and then couldn't find them on FB. I then had to search my computer, but I finally found them with a little patience.

Anyway, yay for arriving at Disney! It sounds like the trip is off to a good start despite the fact that your luggage went to the wrong resort.

It was off to a good start; perhaps the luggage mix-up was telling me I should stay at CBR? But you and I both know that it is not going to happen.

Thank you, I'm glad you are here for it. It truly was a beautiful wedding; I can't wait to see the pictures...I wish the photographer would hurry up. No, we are the lucky ones; and, actually, my son is the luckiest of them all.

Raglan Road is fun, the food is good and the drinks are even better.

Nope...not far behind at all (unlike me, who is behind still on a few that I've not read in a month, and then I have to check the ones I did catch up on to see if I'm behind on them again. And to think I want to do a PTR for my trip in 37 days.

Okay, I sat down two nights ago and went through every folder on both my laptop and photobucket and I found the pictures. I finally got them uploaded so I'll post them now.

Before I do, a few little things:

Andy, our oldest, got a new job yesterday. He is now the HEAD Varsity Baseball Coach at one of our local high schools. Still no teaching job, but they will find him something at the school. At least for one semester he will be an aide to the Special Education teacher. Things are finally coming his way...and he so deserves it.

The kids will be married a month this Friday. I can't believe it's been a month already. Here are two videos for you to take a peek at if you want.

The first is the kids first dance. Please note that neither one of my children have a clue how to dance...they obviously take after their father because you can't get me off the dance floor. The second is the best man's toast (Steve and Mark have been best friends for 20 years). He's quite funny and it was the perfect toast.

You can't see Avery or Brenna in the above picture, but the other cute blonde is Kenzie and then you have Cayley. Brenna and Kenzie are Heather's daughters. Heather is friends with Mary and they live about 2-1/2 hours away from Disney and they came and joined us for a few days. This is the second girls trip I've spent with them and they are delightful, and I now consider Heather my friend as well.

We are at Old Key West next month. I heard about it, but I didn't see which resorts it affected.

Every single room at every resort is affected except DVC rooms and the cabins at Ft Wilderness. They have to replace them all!

I'm hoping they won't, since they are being replaced for a possible defect Disney shouldn't have to pay for new ones, it should be a straight swap-out with the company that makes them. But who knows!
